Along with all the flavors available for the day, there is also a wall full of other flavors they offer. They sell ice cream sandwiches and cakes. Kiddie size is perfect for kids and even adults if you want a small portion! Can get crowded and there is no sitting area inside. This used to be the best fresh ice cream in the state. I think the original owner sold, and customer service went down, and prices went up. I called to ask if they had Black Cherry. The guy who answered sounded annoyed by my question, and he sighed and said, "You can get our flavors on our Facebook page," and I said "well what if I don't have Facebook?" No response. So I said, "Well, do you have black cherry?" He said,"black cherry with brownie bits. " Ewww. Doesn't sound good at all. And the guy was rude. I'm not going out of my way for overpriced ice cream. Good luck, Daily Scoop. Maybe hire nicer, more professional people. Because customer service was why this business was once booming.

Our favorite local-ish ice cream place. Great selection of flavors, friendly staff, and not too expensive. They also offer cakes and other goodies in addition to the traditional ice cream choices. Definitely worth checking out if you are nearby and craving some delicious ice cream!

There were only 2 workers behind the counter and a line that went out the door. Of the two employees behind the counter only one was waiting on instore customers. The other was apparently preparing an outside order. This is really bad service. The employees should wait on the customers that took the time and effort to come to their store and fill the online afterwards or get sufficient staff.

I have been coming here since 2009. This was the first place my wife and I went after our first kid was born, like we walked in carrying her. Mr Mike and Ms Fran felt like family and service was always fantastic.Ever since the new owners have taken over the service is down right horrible. They are always understaffed and the employees seem to move in slow motion. They are still going strong with Mr Mike's legendary recipes but with, no music, and such slow service people don't come as often so the atmosphere just feels empty and lifeless.
The ice cream at The Daily Scoop is excellent, but today's experience will make it hard for me to return any time soon. I pre-ordered & prepaid for a birthday cake four days ago and arrived to a crowded store to pick it up this afternoon. I walked to the register and quietly informed the young lady at the register that I was picking up a cake. She said, "I'll get that after I take care of these customers." I figured she may have meant the person who was paying, but it became evident that she meant everyone in the store who was in line. After the next family was served and paid, I asked if the person in the back could bring out the cake. That is when she lectured me that the person in the back was decorating cakes and she was alone in the front of the store. She would get my cake when she finished serving the people ahead of me. It would have taken her less time to get the cake than to lecture me. At this point, another customer even offered to let me go ahead of her family, but I declined since there were others in line behind her. I even had to wait for a person who had not preordered a cake to have it decorated! If you are going to require people to prepay when ordering cakes, there is no reason to make them wait. In fact, I waited the first time when I placed the order originally. Could have been handled much better.

After reading the reviews I had to try this place because of my extreme love for ice cream. The shop is cute, clean and well organized. As mentioned by others, the customer service is a strong 5! The employee was friendly, professional and driven to please consumers. As for the ice cream, I only tried 3 flavors: chocolate (very basic and uneventful), mint chocolate chip (tasty but not as minty as I like), and soft serve chocolate with nuts and peanut butter drizzle. Of the 3 ice creams I'd order the mint c-chip and the soft serve but I definitely wouldn't drive out of my way for the ice cream here.

They are a popular place so expect a line, but they go through orders pretty quickly so you don’t have to wait for too long. Regardless, the ice cream is worth the wait! No seating but we eat the ice cream outside at the car or on the way home!
