The atmosphere is great and staff is friendly but the food is subpar for the price. The Apple pie was cold and for $14 I’d expect it to be warm and maybe topped with whipped cream. Nice spot for drinks though.
The food was very good. The cook took pride in his work. The service was OK, but unfortunately, our waitress was also tending the bar so she was trying to do both jobs. I am taking it as the bartender did not show up tonight so I could not blame her personally. I’ll blame that on Management. The girl that was tending to us had a great personality.

We decided to try Founders since it’s close to home, and it turned out to be a great choice. The pork belly appetizer wasn’t bad, though it could have used a bit more seasoning. I absolutely loved the open-face roast beef — so flavorful and satisfying. My boyfriend enjoyed his pasta and meatballs as well.
