I’ll say the workers were very friendly, however, the food was DISAPPOINTING to say the least. My girlfriend ordered a miso soup with chicken and other stuff in it. We got the food to go. I picked up the food as soon as it was ready. We got home, a 10 min drive, and the soup was ice cold. We heated it up, tried to salvage it. It was so cold, it took about 10 mins of reheating just to get it warm. But the broth itself was absolutely disgusting… definitely not miso as ordered and as advertised. It was thick, brown broth with no flavor whatsoever. It wasn’t edible. Will not be eating here again.

This food was gross. The egg they served me was very obviously old. My egg was green on the inside. I tried the noodles and broth and it was bland. The chicken was chewy but also overcooked. I do not recommend. I am disappointed.

This is my third time at this establishment and my last. It’s a shame that a simple positive customer service interaction could have saved this review, but the owner can’t bare to accept any fault.

Yesterday evening my husband ordered 2 tonkotsu soups and pork steam buns for pick up. Brought them home and were enjoyed. There were leftovers so the food was packed for lunch the next day. I go to eat my lunch and bite down and almost swallow a large chunk of sharp plastic. It looks to be something off a machine or kitchen utensil. I call to let them know, and though the young person answering seemed very aloof, I said no problem I’ll bring it by for you to see. When I arrive the young person behind the counter takes the piece to the back where they see if it’s something broken in their kitchen. They quickly said it’s nothing from the kitchen, mind you I could see them not looking around. The girl calls the owner who tries to talk to me on speaker phone in the middle of the dining room saying they can’t control what comes in their noodle bags. All I want here is an apology and a refund, and I’m told they can’t refund take out orders and offer me more soup. Why would I want soup that I just nearly choked on plastic? I waited 20 min for the owner to show up and when she did, she didn’t apologize, never looked at the plastic, and tried to push more soup or another menu item. I reiterated that I’m not interested in the food. She then said I would have to bring in the trash to be refunded. Who saves their take out trash for a refund…? Then they tried to say I didn’t have a receipt even though they found my order in the system. The owner then said she refunded me $10 and “what more do I want” and became irate saying that I put the piece of plastic in the bowl. Her stories were all over the place, her behavior was erratic and lack of customer service inexcusable. To top it off, she never actually refunded me and just punched buttons on the computer to print something that she crumpled up and threw away. When asked where the refund was she said “remove the review and we will give you $10.” Atrocious business practices, terrible customer service. I have never encountered a business that was so hard pressed to refund my meal after finding literal trash in my food.

TLDR: save your time and money (they’ll lie about refunding you) and go elsewhere for ramen where they don’t accuse you of planting plastic in your food. The poor customer service isn’t worth the mediocre ramen. But if you do eat here, make sure you save your take out trash for a “return” after you check your food.

Food was awesome. The mix between Korean and Japanese cuisine is definitely up my alley. The complimentary kimchi in the beginning was a great experience. The boba shop attached to the place is a nice touch too. Great eats for a fellow big back.

We wanted to give this a try despite the mixed reviews, but unfortunately found the food lacking a lot of flavor and underwhelming.

This place has the best ramen in our area. I go every month or so and it's always getting better. Whatever they've done most recently is amazing. Almost tasted like they added a bit of smokeyness to the meat.

The music can be a little loud sometimes but that's the only complaint.

Kanji Noodle bar was a disappointment. We came around 1pm on a Saturday for lunch to a completely empty place. There was only one person behind the counter who basically did all of the duties as the hostess, server and cashier. The side dish of kimchi and radish that came out first looked like it had already been eaten out of or sitting out for a while (the side of the dish had dried red pepper flakes all over the sides and the radish dish had kimchi residue floating in it). We got the Tonkotsu & Shoyu Ramen which were both mediocre; there was no depth to the flavor but at least the presentation was there. The Kara-age came out like popcorn shrimp, with only one reasonably sized piece of chicken and the rest were all little bits and pieces. We tasted more of the batter than any chicken. They probably serve it this way as they also offer Kara-age as a topping for the ramen. In our opinion, Kanji Noodle Bar is basically like fast-food ramen, if you don't expect too much in regards to quality of food and need a quick ramen fix this would fulfill your need.

I expect that a place like this could be truly excellent with a better ramen broth. It is so close to overall excellence. I will be back in a few months to see how things progress.

Worse ramen I have ever had! I ordered carryout and got the spicy tonkotsu. First off, I ordered extra bamboo shoots for $1.50. There were about 5 bamboo shoots in total. That aside, taste of the tonkotsu was very watered down. Tasted like spicy water. The broth was barely lukewarm when I got home. And I only live 5 minutes away. Add the cold noodles to the lukewarm broth, and you have a cold, greasy bowl of soup. Don't waste your money. If you want good ramen, pay a little more and get it from Tai Chi.

Fuss-free sit-down ramen spot connected to a bubble tea shop. The broth isn't the richest, but it's still a nice place with pretty affordable ramen at decent portions. Service is attentive, friendly, and efficient.

This place is terrible in terms of food. The cook fairly well in terms is basic technique but the is no flavor, no balance in the items and their ingredients. The pork belly buns themselves were a testament to how bad this place was.

Try any other place in the area but don’t spend your money here.

Stopped by for my lunch break. Service was quick and the waitress was very attentive, always making sure my water was topped off, but not overbearing as to not let me enjoy my meal without being pestered. I got the Miso Ramen, and thought it was delicious. Perhaps it could have had more Miso flavor, but I'm not complaining. The noodles were the perfect amount of chewiness, and the broth was delicious. Light, but still full of flavor. It came with a soft boiled ramen egg, corn, and other vegetables that not only added to the flavor, but the nutrition of the ramen. My meal also came with a generous amount of Karaage, which was delicious and was a treat to have, as they could just sell it with the ramen by itself. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend to anybody wanting a delicious, casual bowl of ramen.
