It's the kind of place where everyone knows your name. Great drinks and friendly staff.

Very comfortable and welcoming casual local bar, great music that’s not blasted so you can still have an actual conversation. Friendly bartenders working hard to take care of their customers. Recommend!

As a local physician returning home to complete training, this was deeply disappointing. Refused to serve me with a valid ID, and further refused to let me have a seat at the bar while conversing with friends. Rude and unprofessional.

I've been here more than a handful of times, and I'd love to give this place more stars since it is a friendly neighborhood bar, if you're a white heterosexual couple/person. However, if you fall outside of that category be prepared to get ugly looks and glares from some patrons (not super surprising for this area). The bartenders are never rude, but at certain times of the day/week the clientele can be a bit ... Judgemental, and that's putting it mildly.

Super friendly bartender, competitive pool players, shuffleboard, jukebox, darts

They are letting the employees run the place and scaring any new people from wanting to be there.

First time at this place. It's everything as advertised. Local dive bar with class. Cathy was awesome, patrons treated you like family. Been in the area for 40 years and never new it was here. Great evening, glad I found it. Definitely my new local bar

If you are okay to patronize a business that doesn’t pay their share of taxes to the U.S. government or to Maryland, then feel free to visit. As a newcomer to my first and last visit to this nice neighborhood bar, I was surprised when I closed my tab to learn that I could pay for our drinks with a credit card, but tips were only in cash per “the owner’s policy”. What that really means is that the owner doesn’t want to pay his share of FICA/FUTA and MD state unemployment tax, and his servers get away with not paying taxes, but also end up with way less social security in their retirement because their earned wages are artificially low thanks to their selfish boss. Funny that the bar is filled with patriotic references, but the owner and his staff don’t actually want to pay their share of the country we live in, and instead expect to shift that burden to their neighbors who patronize this bar.

A local place where you can sit back and enjoy a cold beer and good conversation. I watched the Oriole game there.
