Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Always a good treat! However check your spoons please. The selection your clerk handed me had a very rough edge and just cut the inside of my top lip

Arrived a few minitues before they opened, waited over a half hour, they turned on the open sign, but never came to the window, multiple people came and left.

We waited outside here for 30 minutes after they opened and they didn’t serve us. They turned on the open sign while we were here and they still didn’t open or even tell us that they would serve us or anything. Five different people came and went after they opened and nobody was helped even though the open sign was turned on at 1.

Rita's is always a fun treat in the summer, they never disappoint

Rita's is my favorite ice cream parlor simply because of their soft serve options! I'm not a big fan of the regular scooped ice cream and much more prefer softer ice cream and foods in general.
My favorite thing there by far is the cookies and cream Gelati! I also love the Choclate - Vanilla - Twist cone (on a cake cone) with rainbow sprinkles! If I'm down for it, every once in a while, I will get the Swedish fish Gelati that has a nice sweet tang to it, and mixed with the frozen creamy custard , it's so perfect!

Now, so far with staff I hadn't had any issues with. According to a lot of other reviews on here, people are saying the staff and customer service are terrible. Most of the time, especially during summer seasons, it's just high schoolers finding a summer job there, and they're pretty friendly to me!

That's all for now, though. I would highly recommend this place, definitely a 10/10!!!!

Say that you have terrible customer service without saying it. Girl who took my order seemed agitated that I needed things (straw, napkin, holder). There were no other customers to help, so I’m not sure what the rush was. I called to discuss the terrible customer service with the manager Brook-ie (if that’s her actual name) she asked how is calling going to help me and hung up. Came in person and the manager Brook-ie who I spoke with said that the phone “disconnected”. Not sure the name of the girl who serviced me as the manager wouldn’t disclose her name, telling me that the blond brunette girl can tell me her name. I asked her, her response was that she didn’t want to tell me. While i’m talking to her she decides to try and go help a customer who had just walked up. There needs to be a customer service standard here, all across the board, regardless of the whether the customer is skin-folk.
