Incredible..... had only heard of this place through word of mouth. Tucked back away from everything at Fairview Marina. Truly a place of food and drink exceptionalism in Pasadena, with the weekly and limited menu you will be amazed with the flavor and palatable passion with which the food is made. With limited hours of operation there is just a sliver of time to enjoy these handcrafted fares so do yourself a favor and make sure you make time for a meal you will not soon forget.

Second visit was even better than the first! From Pennsylvania and with local friends for an amazing meal! We dove in to apps too quickly for pictures but would have been happy with 2 orders of grilled bacon and watermelon! My salad was to die for and husband can’t stop talking about his tilefish entree! Kelsie took great care of us and the vibe here is so fun and innovative! Wish we lived closer and hoping our friends don’t get sick of us!

We found this restaurant online while searching for a good location to anchor our boat on the Western shore of the Chesapeake. We were looking to try a new location for the weekend. The location was perfect and the anchorage was very well protected. The quality of the food was superior to any place around the Northern Chesapeake bay. The cocktails were top notch. Emma, our server was great and we got to chat with her for a bit. We had such a memorable experience and really appreciated the quality and love that goes into everything. The restaurant is very clean and well-cared for. We sat outside and it was very nicely lit. We will definitely be back.

This was our first visit. The wait staff was very polite and friendly.
My wife and I came out, and we each had tenderloin tacos, seared tuna w/avocado crema shared a dessert.
The bill was $102 plus a $30 cash tip, thus $132. Fairly pricey.
The tenderloin tacos ($21) were good, (still 3 small tacos)the seared tuna ($39) was cooked perfectly, but was had some fat stringy strands. Did not seem like anything you couldn't buy as a frozen tuna steak. The avocado crema was very tasty. The shared dessert was a spicy brownie ($13). It was ok, not really any spice evident. There was also a previously undisclosed charge (%3) for the staff in the kitchen. ???
IDK, the food was good, but rated a 3 partially based upon price. High priced food should be of the highest quality. Prices are well above Primos and Two Rivers - the other local competing high end restaurants. It'll be a while before we return.

There is absolutely nothing to not like about this place. The best meal I’ve eaten in a long time. The staff and service was fantastic. Amazing attention to details from the plating to timely refilling of empty water glasses. And the chefs……these guys can cook. Can’t wait to go back.

We’ve eaten dinner at S&M several times and it’s been great each time! Most recently we had the surf and turf burger, and the crab cake dinner.
The crab cakes are the delicious, and the burger was one of the best I’ve ever had!
We highly recommend and we will be back!

Any time that My girlfriend and I go here it’s always amazing. From the staff Mark and Jake in the kitchen, Liz and Kim in the front of the house, everyone is fantastic and treats you like family. . This past weekend we had Gabe’s Chesapeake Surf n Turf burger which was OUTSTANDING. This is a hidden gem, definitely a place you must see to believe. You tried the rest in the area, now try the BEST ???

Our four generation group of 10, went to this restaurant to celebrate the retirement of one.
All felt that this was an exceptional meal.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A table side visit by the chef was very pleasant.
We wish that we had discovered this restaurant sooner and will certainly return.

My mom hosted my baby shower at Sam and Maggie’s. All of our guests were SO impressed by the food (taste, presentation), service, drinks and atmosphere. It was a perfect event. My mom said they were extremely accommodating and communicative with her about the menu (everything fresh, vegetarian options etc), event date/time, and helpful with where and how to best set up decorations and tables. The crab cakes, the short ribs, the desserts - everything high quality flavors and presentation.
The fact that Sam and Maggie’s is such a family run business comes through in their food and atmosphere, and being along the water helps too! I highly recommend visiting them for a meal, then going again for another meal and another, or hosting an event- bridal shower, luncheon, baby shower there. They are gem of a an establishment and family.
