Edit: Since the owner has changed, the portions have changed tremendously, the amount of rice you get on a meal is a joke, it's too small even for a kids meal.

Food is great here. Staff is very friendly too. Try the Taj Mahal lager.

Delicious food especially sukuti fry, buff momo and mango lassi. Service is also very pleasant. Must visit.

My son and I visited this location for the first time today and we can’t wait to plan our next visit. Our waitress was incredibly kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and understanding of dietary preferences/restrictions. The new owner, Amir, went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and the entire staff was so genuinely grateful of our business. We felt like family, even though it was our first time. I was having a rough day, and this experience was the positive turnaround that my son and I needed. Thank you again!

Vegetarian options: There is an entire vegan section on the menu and entrees are clearly marked to indicate dietary information.

Dietary restrictions: Delicious vegan options and the entire staff was knowledgeable when sharing ingredients for different dishes.

Kid-friendliness: My son absolutely loved the Indian cuisine (he tried my dishes) and the kid’s options as well!

took carryout today and asked spice level to be of 10 for Biryani and Fried Rice but when we had first bite it was completely tasteless… not spicy at all… i would not suggest anyone to try it… however the service was good

Urgent Complaint: Plastic Found in Food

Dear RESTAURANT OWNER,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and concern regarding an order I recently placed from your restaurant, (ordered through Uber Eats). After facing initial confusion at the restaurant where my order couldn’t be located right away, I eventually received my food and brought it home.

To my dismay, I discovered a piece of plastic mixed in with my food. This poses a serious health risk and is completely unacceptable. Not only was my meal ruined, but I was also put at risk of ingesting foreign material.

I am requesting a full refund for this order and assurance that measures will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. I look forward to your swift response.

I got the chicken tikka masala and literally I had only three pieces of chicken inside. It was 95% sauce and 5% chicken. What is the point of that? I was very unsatisfied with my meal

Came to dine in this afternoon at 4:45, but they were going to close at 5 for a party. We got take out instead. Male staff who initially took our order (lamb tikka masala, chicken biryani, garlic naan) at the reception area was nice and apologetic we couldn’t dine in. Female cashier apparently didn’t get our order in the system and asked us to repeat it. She then informed us that our ordered lamb tikka masala was not available on their menu. We switched to chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani instead. Male staff who initially took our order came back out from the kitchen and verified we changed the chicken biryani to lamb. Our order came out not long after and was handed to us by the male staff in a brown paper bag stapled shut. Came home to realize our garlic naan wasn’t in the bag (this was very disappointing). Food was tasty, but wasn’t very happy with today’s experience due to the missing naan. We are repeat customers, we’ve loved this place since it was Taste of Taj, and would definitely come back again. Lesson learned to make sure to check our order next time. Hopefully the staff does the same.

Best Indian/Nepalese food in Maryland. It is always fresh! Best vegetarian, and meat dishes are tender. Best curry sauce. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves this food.
Not easy to see from the road, it is at the junction of Honeygo and Belair Road.
