I ordered a strawberry shortcake and it was absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly balanced with strawberries and a light fluffy cake that was not overly sweet but done just right. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. It was a hit with everyone and looked just as good as it tasted. Customer service was smooth and professional from start to finish. Highly recommend The Cake Studio if you want a cake that delivers on both flavor and presentation. I will definitely be back. 🍰👏

I’d heard so many good things about this place that I decided to give them a try for my daughter’s 12th birthday.

First the positives:
Customer services was top notch. The young lady I spoke with on the phone was patient, informative, & helpful. My daughter was having a colors themed pj party(each kid a diff color) and I was in need of a colorful cake. The rainbow colors but WITHOUT the actual rainbow. I said repeatedly that we didn’t want the actual rainbow 🌈 design on this cake. Anywhere. (We love rainbows btws. Just not for this cake) She gave me some ideas and we came up with some kind of colorful flower as my kid loves flowers. We also decided on the flavor confetti or bday cake. Just not vanilla. The pricing was good and by the end of our convo, I thought we had a pretty great understanding of each other. I also called with about two weeks or so of time in advance for this cake. They sent me an invoice that I must confess sadly I didn’t read in detail , I saw the price tab and paid.

Fast forward to the cake pick up and the negatives:
With keeping in mind I did say on the phone that the decorator could have some creative room. The first thing I noticed was not a single flower on my baby’s cake and what made it worse, it was a literal rainbow design wrapped around her entire cake. 🥴😣 The one thing I asked for this cake not to be. I even suggested paint splashes type decor. Anything but a rainbow. Now once I asked about why my baby’s flower was missing, a young lady at the front said she could have them “add one real quick” but I didn’t have time. Unfortunately for myself, I picked up the cake the day of my kids birthday, not prior to as I’d planned. I took the cake as is, thinking it was still cute and would taste great.

Unfortunately again, we were wrong. After singing we cut the cake to find out it was in fact vanilla cake again, not confetti/bday cake flavor. The lady told me the flavor had colorful sprinkles in it(so very on theme to my baby’s party). I’m clearly not sure of the flavor. But we were very sprinkle-less and the icing on this cake was, it was dry as the dessert!! I had over 14 total guests and the kids chose the ShopRite cupcakes I brought as extra over the gourmet cake. Mind you,I cut and gave out the fancy cake first. The kids were like it’s dryyyy!! The parents didn’t even want to take our cake home with them. Who doesn’t want free cake?! I ended up with a whole 3/4 cake that no one will eat and I paid for 💔

I tried to call them Monday Nov 24th, they were closed and I called back Tuesday & Weds before writing this review but I didn’t get an answer. Also tried giving the cake away at Thanksgiving. No go. I wanted the cake to be good though. They so owe my kid a cake 😢 😩

Finding this place was both the best and worse thing I could have done. They sell my favorite dessert, which is hard to find, and they do it wonderfully. The icing is the best thing I’ve ever had. It’s smooth and satiny. The texture and taste is truly out of this world. I will recommend them
Again and again.

Amazing! My baby loved his lanky box cake for his 5th bday party. He had a vision & they executed it perfectly. It turned out better than I could’ve imagined, they did such a great job on his cake. It looked really nice & it was delicious. Ordering was simple, easy and fast. I will definitely be ordering again for our next events.

I added the candles and number 5 myself.

I ordered a gluten free heart cake for my wedding and it was literally probably the best cake I’ve ever had. It was delivered on time and they were super easy to work with!!

First time ordering from the cake studio, I’ve always wanted the opportunity to stop by the store and I did for my nephew’s 9th birthday. The service was flawless and stress free. The pick up was on time and the details were exactly what I asked for! My nephew was so excited. The party guest loved the flavor, (I got the cookies & cream). Also the price was so reasonable and love that. I will definitely be back!

I ordered a 7" coconut cake as a birthday cake. It was super tasty, even the icing was great and I'm not easy to please with icing. It came 4 layers tall! Definitely one of the best coconut cakes I've had. The appearance of the cake was a little underwhelming, but I just ordered a generic birthday cake so I got what I got. I'll definitely try them again.
