The baker was kind enough to work with me on the pickup date changes that I had. I was hoping for a a more vivid pink gradient but I still loved my cake. I loved that the buttercream wasn’t too sweet either. I would recommend The Cake Studio!

This was my first time at this business. Not sure if the woman that took my order was the owner or not. But, she was VERY unfriendly, I ordered a cake and requested dark blue & light blue trimming..When I picked the cake up it had black & grayish trim.I politely reminded her what my order entailed. Thus, asked if she could add blue?..She did but, never apologized and still displayed the same weird attitude. I was very friendly to her..yet she seemed so bothered. Sad because the location is convenient, but I won't patronize her establishment again.

I have had 6 cake pints, a pumpkin blondie brownie, and a regular pumpkin brownie. Everything here is made that day, delicious, and with the right amount of sweetness. She uses cream cheese frosting for example which is my favorite. I cant seem to get enough of this place.If you are near the area take a moment to stop by here and grab yourself a desert.

Delicious Delicious Delicious. Customer service is good and there was a nice selection of cakes in jar. Now I do think they are pricey for sure ($8 for a small jar) but they are still delicious. I have been here twice already and I like them. Do stop by you will not be disappointed. Next time I will have pictures just couldn't wait to dig into my jar oops sorry.

While i was waiting for a service next door, I craved something sweet. Not being familiar with this establishment, I walked in asking if they sell cupcakes, the lady said no but said they do have cake in a jar. I tried it... since why not. Anyway, it was the best and so fresh. The jar was cute. This so beat my expectations. I will be returning whenever I am in the area.

I ordered the premium cake Pucker and I found it lacked on the lemon filling. It was more of an essence of lemon. I also ordered my cake 10 days prior to pick up and it wasn't ready at 1pm. The birthday cake design was very weak and they want $5 to add a ribbon and some pipping. The cake is was 3.5 stars lacking lemon. One person working on the day before Thanksgiving Day. They need to hire more people, add more ingredients to a premium cake and add more decorations without a surcharge for a standard birthday cake. Luckily I had candles and my own decorations. I may try them in a few months before I write them off completely. I think their wedding cakes get special attention and effort. However if you want the regular birthday cake they need to up the service and ingredients.

I've been coming to The Cake Studio since they were in Phoenix, MD, and nothing has changed a bit now that they are in Owings Mills. Melanie and her team go the extra mile for you. The cakes, cakepints, and other treats are consistently delicious. We recently ordered a wedding cake and everything from the tasting to the ordering process to the delivery were all seamless. Every cake made here is a work of art and has a one-of-a-kind flavor. You can't go wrong with choosing them for any occasion or if you're just in the mood for a sweet treat!

I really didn't need to provide her any direction on what to do - just showed her some pictures and she went with it completely! We asked for a little peekaboo pup on the cake and she did a great job! In addition to being great to work with, her cakes are delicious! We got so many compliments on both flavors, we chose Lemon Curd and Red Velvet but based on the tasting, I really don't think you can go wrong with any!

I've ordered the "cake pints" 3 times and honestly have yet to find one that isn't absolutely decadent and delicious. 10/10 flavor and so rich I have to eat one in two sittings. Almond Raspberry reminds me of the shortbread and jam cookies I used to make when I was a little kid and I greatly look forward to all of my future orders!

I ordered a cutting cake for my wedding for October. Mel let me order off menu and was able to make me a beautiful and delicious tiramisu wedding cake. The cake was beautiful and delicious, there is nothing more you can ask for. Would definitely recommend.

I don't think I could have nicer things to say about this place. We waited an entire year to leave a review, and man we're just as in love a year later. They were perfect when it came to customizing our cake for our wedding, and even after an entire year it's delicious. To be honest this and the venue are tied for best parts of the wedding. We will definitely be ordering from here for all our cake needs. Absolutely fantastic.
