An excellent lunch menu. Soup was well worth it. Had a real good deli on rye.Kid-friendliness: We once ate there when the kids were little and they had activities for the kidsDietary restrictions: Kosher

We were driving and were quite a distance away from this restaurant, so we called and asked what the latest seating was, we were told 9:10pm. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:55pm and the greeter was dealing with a customer whose takeout order never arrived. We waited patiently until she finally noticed us and asked us what we wanted. We told her we wanted to sit and eat. She rolled her eyes and said she wasn't sure she could seat us, she would have to ask the manager. The manager was standing right next to her, she turned to him and asked him if she could seat us. He told her that there were no waiters and if she sat us, she would have to wait the table. She looked at us, with quite dead eyes, and told us that she could seat us, but she guesses that she would have to serve us, since there were no waiters. I shrugged, and seated us. The table was nicely set, but there were chicken wings with sauce on the floor under our feet. They gave us menus and then the manager came to take our order. We ordered, the food came quickly and was thrown onto our table by the greeter. The cheque came moments after the food and we were pressured to leave quickly. Nobody offered desert, nobody offered a drink or a coffee or a tea, just pay and leave. The food was decent, I had a southern fried chicken and a weird southern fried steak...My wife had a burrito (which came to the table uncut). The restuarant was pretty run down, paint chipping all over the place. All-in-all mediocre food, bad attidue and run-down atmosphere. Not overly impressed...

Easily one of the worst places I’ve ever been to got bbq wings. Tasted like it was from yesterday and it was Luke warm but took them 30 minutes. I mean good lord. I guess it’s since I’m young. It was horrible i mean good god.

I was very disappointed with my last visit. It took over 20 minutes for a waiter to first come to our table of 2 people to get our drink order. (Only happened then because we got fed up and went to front counter and ask to have one wait on us.) Placed our food and drink order together. When our favorite item, The Birds nest came out, it was cold. Sent it back to have it warmed up because fries were soggy and gross . Took almost another 10 minutes after the warmed food came back to us for our beer to show up finally...the beer was served very warm! What a terrible experience!!!!! Again, server disappeared and we sat waiting and waiting for her to check on us so we could get the bill to leave. Had to go back to front to get her to come back to table. The place was not very busy, several other waiters present....I guess they have stopped caring.... This used to be my favorite place to go. Now I'm not sure I'd return.

The food is pretty good. However, the takeout service is NOT good. I have had several occasions recently where items were left out of the bag. I bought a Southwest salad and specified the Chipotle dressing. They forgot the dressing. On another occasion I made an order and they forgot the baked potato. In addition, Dougies is incredibly inaccurate with their time estimates when you order online. On multiple times, I have had to wait an hour or more past the time their system said the food would be ready. So, I would like to give one star due to the poor takeout service but the food is decent so giving two stars. If their management would get on the ball and make sure they put everything promised in the takeout bag, I would bring it up to three stars. If they would get their time estimates correct, I would go up to four or five stars.Oh, by the way, I did try to reach out to the manager by phone. The manager's voice mail was full so no luck there. Then I called the front desk and no one answered the phone. This was not a busy day so why doesn't anyone answer the phone?Parking: The parking lot in the back looks like it has been through a bombing or an earthquake. Pretty unimpressive.

Amazing service and food! Shlomo not only did an excellent job with taking orders and bringing the food out as soon as it was ready, but he spent time entertaining the 3 children his whole shift. Chef Danny really scored 5 stars on food today too! Thanks so much for a fun and entertaining dinner. We also had “take out” to bring home.Kid-friendliness: Server Shlomo really entertained. Good seating, straws on request, good kids meals with options!Parking: Lots of parking available.

The burger seemed smaller than the last time I was there but the budget was still really good. Good service, nice ambiance and reasonably priced. Nothing else to add.

This is one my favorite spot for me when I want my fry chicken and sauce. The rice is dry so I always ask for chicken and rice with sauce all over my rice and chicken.I say that because I can’t eat their rice without it having a lot of sauce on it. I went there on 2/11/2023 I was complaining that it was not enough sauce on my rice and ask for sauce on the the side she charged me .75 cents for the sauce on the side(which is apart of the meal I paid for it already). What bothered me the most is that I paid for fry chicken with the sauce and I told them what I wanted and it was not don!!!Which is why I ask for extra sauce that I had to ask for because they did notPut enough on my rice…I am sooo disappointed ☹️??? I won’t be going here anymore …Every-time you try support your own it never works out !!!!

Based on the owners great responses to his customers, I will eat at Dougie’s this weekend! I live right down the street and I like the fact that the owner seems to care about his reviews, and customers. Every restaurant has their ups and downs, based on reviews Dougie’s looks like a great place can’t wait!

Food is very good. My go to favorite is the presto chicken wrap. They have a large variety of menu options. Dougies has a party room available to rent but they also have a side room available for large groups. We used the side room for an event and everything went perfect. The tables were nicely setup before we got there. The wait staff were relatively quick in bringing out everyone's orders and making sure to get all the orders right. One of the best Glatt Kosher restaurants in the Baltimore area. They are famous for their white paper table cloths. They give you crayons so the kids (or adults) can color on the table cloths while eating. It helps keep the kids quiet while the adults are eating/talking. They have as nice sushi menu as well as the meat menu.

Large menu and a lot to choose from. Had a taste for corned beef on rye and it was a good one. The fries were a nice since to the sandwich. Not the best corned beef sandwich I've had but will tell you it was just what I was looking for.

Stopped in for some takeaway today. Received what seems to be a typical experience for us.We showed up 10 minutes before pickup and the food was, unexpectedly, already bagged and ready to go.The food was fairly well cooked and met or exceeded expectations. The burgers were flavourful and juicy. The chicken was well breaded and fried to an excellent crisp-yet-juicy.That is not to say the food is perfect. The fries are a bit bland, even the spiced ones. The spicy chicken was also quite mild. Since it was takeaway and they preassemble the sandwiches, the bread was rather soggy. We experimented today with a crispy burger which was a burger battered in a falafel-like crust and fried. I probably will not order that particular dish again, but it was an interesting off-beat option. The pick up line was empty with two employees at the counter. One did not engage with us at all. The other alternated between answering phones and then being able to respond to us.There was a small discrepancy in the order (a missing sauce). We initially mentioned to the counterman that we had ordered it and that we did not expect it to be in the bag since we have never had the sauce we ordered actually in the bag. (We have adjusted our expectations to always check our Dougie's takeaway for accuracy.)The employee told us that the sauce should be in there, so we checked our order on a nearby table. The sauce was not there. We told the employee and began repacking the bag. He insisted on checking the contents again himself; he also found the sauce to be missing and did eventually get one for us. We were left to repack the bag again. The order included drinks, which we reminded the employee when he was off the phone again. He told us to go ahead and grab from a nearby merchandiser. We realised on the drive home that he had neglected to charge us, so we paid using this ingenious QR code on the receipt.Although the experience differs visit to visit, it always seems a bit chaotic. Usually our orders are missing items, so do check before driving off. When asking regarding allergen information, we have been regularly misinformed, so be very cautious if you have allergies. With that said, the food is enjoyable and fairly consistent.Dietary restrictions: Glatt kosher

I've been going to this place for years. Very accommodating for family of different ages. Also it's one of the only kosher places I'll go to eat, and actually won't get sick.

Excellent food and service, asked for a suggestion from our waiter and was happy with ordering something I never would have thought of. Fantastic London broil, done just right, blooming onion done only the way Dougie's does it.Parking: Parking should be better lit in the back very dark deserted lot but we found a spot easily enough on a quiet night.
