Inconsistent kitchen, both in terms of quality and dish composition; e.g., the same mixed vegetables dish will have wilted red bell peppers and wilted mushrooms one visit, and fresh snow peas and wilted baby corn the next. And why do you have young children taking and handling carry-out orders? I appreciate this is a family operation, but the optics are really unseemly.
My wife and I celebrated Chinese New Year by ordering take out dinner from Mr. Chan last week. We always enjoy the cuisine at Mr. Chan. The egg drop soup is always tasty. The spring rolls are always perfect. The deluxe chow mein is always excellent.
