It was late and we hadn't eaten anything. So we stopped in. The ambiance was nice. The music was relaxing. And the customer service was excellent. I do not eat meat. So when I ordered veggie sushi rolls the hostess asked if I had any allergies and I shared I do not eat meat and that I was a vegan. She made sure that my soup and other food were carefully made. I am looking forward to coming back.
Vegetarian options: I am a vegan and I will go back.
Parking: It's in a plaza so you'll find parking.

Great customer service, wait time was great for 2 meals(chicken hibachi- soo good, chicken tampra- (good. Had a raw chicken maybe depending on what it was). Prices are reasonable . Healthy meals. Received free sushi, soup, & salad! She was so nice at the front & gifted us can sodas also. We got an order of real crab California rolls

Nestled in the corner of a small strip mall, SSR was a pleasant surprise. The service was perfect, the atmosphere welcoming and the food was unexpectedly delicious and executed well. Pikesville is lucky to have this eatery as it could easily be situated in a city center and find a loyal following.

My experience at this place was absolutely amazing, the workers here are very nice and polite. I did not have to wait long for my food and when I did get my food, it was nice and warm, not cold or anything!! I also recommend this restaurant for minors and if you don’t know how to use chopsticks. They will give you training chopsticks ?!
Kid-friendliness: I’m a minor, and I went here with my mom and sister.. the food is absolutely AMAZING! You should try the beef ramen bowl it’s delicious and the best ramens I’ve had in my life! 10/10 would recommend again!!!!! ??????????????????????

So it was an early Saturday night. We were trying to figure out what to do for takeout. Long story short I went to get sushi for the first time at Sushi Sakura & Ramen. I looked at the menu and ordered three different chef's special sushi rolls, Japanese shrimp fried rice and the miso soup of which my wife is a connoisseur. While waiting I asked the young man at the register how long they had been opened and he said two months. So based on the previous reviews there must be new owners. Bottom line: the food was outstanding. Seriously- the food was a 10/10. And the miso soup.- Before tasing my wife said this will probably be too salty. They always are. Instead much to her surprise and delight the miso was perfect. This restaurant just got themselves a repeat customer.

My wife and I have been there a number of times now that their selection has expanded (no longer only kosher sushi). Awesome food, friendly and professional service, and reasonable prices. We're so glad to have an excellent sushi place in our neighborhood!
