Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I am UTTERLY DISGUSTED and disappointed with my experience at this Tropical Smoothie location today. I went in to order an açai bowl and walked out with nothing. On the way to the register the young lady sneezed and proceeded to take my order. She then walked over to make my order and NEVER ONCE WASHED HER HANDS. She used the hand she used to sneeze to hand me my receipt. Again, SHE NEVER WASHED HER HANDS. Once my order was made and she went to hand it to me I asked for a refund because there was NO WAY I was walking out with that bowl. I told her and the other young lady I didn't want the food because she didn't wash her hands. The young lady who made my bowl still DIDN'T WASH HER HANDS and proceeded to make another order while the other young lady attempted to call the manager. They were acting as if they couldn't give me a refund without speaking to him. They called twice and got no answer. They finally refunded me my money and I left. I was VERY disappointed and I will not be returning to this location.

Praying I don’t get sick. Realized after my smoothie was made that the lids and blender were utterly disgusting looking. All they do is a quick rinse after each make. They need to be thrown away and replaced with new ones

I usually select a location a little farther away as this location is not consistent. Order an egg wrap today..pretty much ALL cheese. I guess they don't bank on you actually opening the wrap to look for the egg...literally a couple specks of egg..the rest cheese. Food is nasty just stick to smoothies here

I chewed on ice and ginger my entire ride home because whoever was making smoothies for online orders on 2/25 around 7pm decided she didn’t have time to actually blend my smoothie. The store was dirty and the customer service left a lot to be desired. Although I’m never coming back, I do want you all to do better.

I went it today the customer service was terrible. I walked in spoke said hi to employees they just look at you don't say anything back. Girls behind the counter look like they don't want to be there. This is not the first time either

Usually good service. This time we had 2 orders. A smoothie and a salad and a smoothie and a bowl. The smoothie with the salad had the contents all over the top, down the side on the bag the salad was in. Also the lid was off the salad and no cover anywhere for the dressing container in the salad bowl. The second smoothie was in the cubby for pickup, but no bowl. I had to ask about it and it was just sitting bagged on the counter behind the register. The girl got it and just stuck in the cubby. No comments. No apology. "Some" of the staff aren't up to par.
UPDATE 11\30\24: Got 2 smoothies today and they and the service were back to great! Not at all like the previous time.

Usually my bowls is fixed right and delicious but the last couple times not so good especially when I found a piece of hair. The smoothie taste like the blender has not been cleaned. Come on now we can do way better than this. 😒

I love tropical smoothie cafe, I probably get a smoothie from this location 2-3 times per week but tonight I got to this location at 8:50 just for them to tell me that they were closed. Took my business to the Milford mill location..

Manassas tropical smoothie is the best they are friendly clean environment I really recommend it Liberia and manassas

So I visited this store at 8:25 and the girl Sophie was mopping the whole front of the store. I needed to use the restroom and she told me she shut it down already. She then sees how many customers were still coming in at 8:32 and told the girl in the back that after this customer she didn’t have to take any orders if it wasn’t online . She proceeds to continue mopping around us as we stood here
I’m just confused and finding it difficult to patronize tropical smoothie locations. This happened flat the Owings mills location and I was mad that I drove all the way there for them to try and shut down 15 mins early. I would like to know where this is stated on the site so that customers aren’t blindsided

Staff always friendly and polite. Love getting smoothies and their breakfast quesadillas

The smoothies are awesome but the service at this location is awful. The employees lack any customer kindness. It borders on rudeness. I won’t stop going to tropical smoothie, but I will stop going to this location. I’ve been to this location at least 10 times and I can only say 1 of those experiences has been pleasant. This location has received enough of my money
