So if we are down this way we like to grab a bite by the water and will stop here....was quiet and didn't even think it was open till I tried the doors this time...we normally get crab cakes and this time it looked more like someone went to SAFEWAY and heated up a crab cake thats not a homage version....bland....then we also tried there version of what I call Chicken Chesapeak...chicken breast with imperial crab and melted motery jack and cheddar cheese....there chicken was breaded and they put fries on top and crab and the cheese...was to the point the chicken was eaten and some of the fries with crabmeat but it was so SALTY you just couldn't enjoy what was there.....the views are always peaceful now even in the colder months as well as the summer

Very disappointing experience. I ordered the Greek salmon rice bowl and the salmon was extremely overcooked, completely unseasoned, and barely a portion—maybe 2 oz at most. The rice bowl itself was appetizer-sized, which is unacceptable for the price.
My boyfriend ordered the honey Old Bay wings. He only ate two before giving up—they were dry, lacked flavor, and had no honey at all.
Service was just as bad. We weren’t offered drink refills, and the Sprite tasted like the soda machine hadn’t been cleaned. My boyfriend had to get up and find our waitress just to get plates for our appetizer.
The only decent item was the Boom Boom Pow shrimp, which is the only reason this place gets one star. Overall, not worth the money and we won’t be returning.

Tasteless tacos, no seasoning on chicken, jar salsa. I have not 1 thing to say good about the food. Iced tea was delicious. Salmon on dish was spoiled. The restaurant must sell lots of beer, alcohol. I will never return. This was my 1st visit in years. This is my opinion only!

I do not recommend this place. Crab cakes weren't good and the truffle fries didn't even taste a little bit like truffle.

I ordered delivery so can't comment on the service or atmosphere. We ordered a broiled crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries, which was good. A fried crab cake with regular fries, which was good. The BOWL of soup for $11.50 looked more like a half of a cup. They substituted the potato salad for mac and cheese (which I do not like so my roommate ate it). The coleslaw was too salty to eat and very mushy. The strip steak was cooked perfectly but was also salty. Why do I provide my phone number if they aren't going to call when they are out of something. I will not be ordering anymore.

The entire Dockside team provided outstanding catering our daughter’s wedding. Everything was truly exceptional. The staff was warm and professional, the food was absolutely delicious, and the bartenders brought such great energy to the celebration. Every detail was handled flawlessly, from setup to cleanup.
The generous portions and thoughtful touches—like the crushed ice, fresh garnishes, mixers, water dispensers, and Coke products—were so appreciated by our guests. We received endless compliments about the food and service. The only disappointment was that my husband somehow missed the late-night fries (I can confirm they were amazing).
Even the behind-the-scenes support was remarkable. Everyone worked quietly and efficiently to make the night seamless. When we walked the property the next morning, everything was spotless—not a single cup, plate, or piece of trash left behind.
We are so grateful that we chose Dockside for our event.

Overcooked food and almost no service. Beautiful spot. Used to be good to eat here. Now, not so much. Hope they improve- a lot of money for crappy food and service. I’d like to enjoy coming here again.

Awesome experience at Dockside for Lunch. We sat outside over looking the river. We enjoyed wings and the bbq chicken salad. Everything was fresh and yummy. Laid back vibes and super friendly service. The restaurant is extremely clean and well taken care of. Best spot on the lower shore.

7/2025 my last visit there. Food and staff has changed. Menu items not the same as before. Menu has been pared down to 1 page.Did not like choices to choose from. Food was not good, no taste.
Just walked in on Sunday at 6:00 pm and the exterior said nice place on the river but after
walking to our table noting but endless food on the floor and when the kitchen opened where I could see in it made my decision. Food all over the place! Take out a vacuum and clean up for your next batch of customers! It was way past neglected and they have no reason for being this messy. Ill take my business to someone that actually can manage a place that has such potential. Whoever the manger is please fire them and save your reputation if you haven't lost it already.
I didn't care for the what I ordered, chicken and crab.

Spent $80 for everyone to get an upset stomach after leaving. Gave my 10 old who had some nibbles diarrhea and everyone else too. For $20 you'll get lays potato chips too. Baffling. Honestly considering issuing a chargeback.

Great wings and service.
This is an edit. I've been coming here for years, getting the same things mostly the wings. They're honestly hit and miss anymore. Tonight the wings were dry as you know what, not much flavor at all. I dont know why they offer celery anymore there was an 1/8th piece of celery in each box lol i love food so I cook, but sometimes it's nice to take break in the kitchen. Wish I'd saved my money drove 30 minutes for this. If you want good wings go to golden garden. They hardly ever mess up. They're fried though, but cooked to perfection everytime.
