Great rice and chicken platter and kabob. I love the white sauce as well! Their red sauce is quite spicy but I enjoy having a bit with the platter. There is seating inside and outside, both very clean. Parking lot can fit like 10 or so cars, but that usually isn't a problem because most people take their food and leave. I met the owner when I went in on my second time, and he was very nice. Overall I've had wondeful experiences both times I went, and I will be returning again!

This is like a little hidden gem although it’s so accessible from 15. Tiny little place with very delicious food and the customer service was amazing. Really generous portions - We had the pita wraps and fries and ended up taking half home for later. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and a beautiful park across the road if you want that option. It’s a must try!

The food here is great and priced well! I had the gyro platter. The rice, salad, meat, sauce were all great. My son had a cheese steak that was loaded and cooked well. The fries were good too. Nice people work there. Not a big place but they have some tables outside too. Close to C and O canal and park. Great place to stop and eat in between Frederick and Leesburg.

I have been passing this place frequently during my work day. I decided to stop in and give it a try. I am glad I did. Nice atmosphere, kind staff, great service and awesome flavorful food. The owner is a nice person and seems to enjoy the service he provides and it shows. Give it a try. It will be worth it. Just enough of a spin from the normal menus and interesting flavorful sauces. Now I even drive down there when I am off work just for the food. The wraps, rice platters and Salads are all delicious and the portions are generous. Big Belly’s gets a big thumbs up ??

Let me start by saying we order Big Belly’s a ton and absolutely love it!!! Last night however we got it and it was, well…Different. The Rice was very VERY yellow (it’s usually white) and tasted and smelled of Curry, A LOT of Curry. Chicken wasn’t seasoned as it usually was (not nearly as red or well seasoned) and not nearly as much white sauce in the bowls. Also prices went up from $10.99 for a Chicken and Rice bowl to $12.99. Don’t know if they hired a new chef or what was going on. This is usually a 5 star spot for us, but this time it was just ok. It wasn’t bad but just different than what we’ve come to love, and I don’t know that we’d return as much if this is the new norm for flavor and quality. Hope it was just a one time thing.

Was craving something different from the typical pizza, burgers, and sandwiches you can find in the area, and figured we would give Big Bellies a try since I saw a good review of the place on the Frederick Fatty Facebook page not too long ago.
Man, this place is a hidden gem! The food is great, the portions are generous (2 meals worth of food for $15!). We talked to the owner for a bit and he was very friendly and you can tell he's passionate about making great food. Can't wait to come back and try their steak and cheese!
Also, definitely try the hot sauce!!! ???
