Every bit of food we ordered was amazing! Crab dip, broccoli bites, oysters were great. The potato skins with crab imperial will be my go to appetizer no matter what else is ordered. They were fabulous! Already made plans to go back next week. The friendly staff is just an added bonus!

Only stopped for a couple beers. I played some Keno. The service could of been a little better. I think the bartender wasn't having the best day ibdod hear her say nothing was going right. Ill cut her a break because my previous visits our bartender and servers were good! I didnt have time to eat. My food in previous visits also was very good the prime rib and the king crab legs.

Thinking of where to go eat, and I live in Illinois now. I sure wish Gateway was just down the road.

I wish I could give more stars. Every single thing I put in my mouth was delicious. The honey old bay wings are chef’s kiss. The homemade desserts are melt in your mouth.

We loved this restaurant until last Sunday evening. Horrible experience. Our steak sub consisted of burnt steak with nothing else on it. Steak dinner was too salty. Had no Mac and cheese for baby and had to ask when never came. Waiter was nice but took our complaint about subs very lightly. Won't be back.

Visited for the first time on a friday for lunch with friends. I have lived in Calvert for 15 years and never knew it was there. Its truly a local gem. Please remember this is a small bar restaurant. Its not fancy and is dated. However, thats what I loved about it. Its cozy. The staff were friendly and working very hard.To drink I had a Woo Woo which is now my favorite. For lunch I had the clubsandwich(combo meat) with french fries and slaw. The sandwich was huge. Tasted delish. The fries were also good. Perfect combo of crispy and soft. The slaw, which by the way I'm picky about was very good too. Not too sweet but not too vinegary. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my daughter to go. The tenders were also good. Only recommendation I can think of is a little more fries with the sandwiches. The menu has a good variety of options. Lots of appetizers, sandwiches and from what I gather prime rib for dinners sometimes.I highly recommend popping in and giving them a try. I will for sure be back.

Service was not good, but only because we had a server that was kinda new but shouldn't be in that line of work. Food came out quickly, and the hostess tried her best to fix things.
