Had a DoorDash delivery from Calvert Crabs. I ordered the jumbo large crab cake with a side of Chesapeake Macaroni Salad. It came in a big package that looked empty. They could’ve put a bed of lettuce on the bottom to fill the box. I ordered no sauce on my crabcake and ended up with some kind of sauce that was gross. However, the Chesapeake macaroni salad was good. We also ordered a quart of cream of crab soup that was delicious as well.
EDIT TO ADD: received a reply about the imperial sauce on broiled crab cakes. Next time state “no imperial sauce”

Highly recommend going to Mels or Captain Smith seafood if you want crabs around this time of season literally could break the crabs with one hand, very small & poorly & the meat was all dark

Reviewing the food truck on 13 Oct. Amazing food and delicious....the Honey BBQ cheddar and Mac waffle cone was amazing!!!! The people running it were very nice also!🙂

What happend? This place used to be great and my go-to for seafood. The last 3 times I have ordered from here it has been very disappointing. All my orders cost between $100 and $150 every time i order from here. This evening,I ordered a crabcake sandwich with crabby fries and maryland crab soup. Didn't get the crabby fries at all and there was not one morsel of crabmeat in the soup. Maryland crab soup without the crab meat is just vegetables and broth and definitely not worth the price they are charging. The crabcake looked perfect but sadly had no flavor and no seasoning at all. Very disappointing. Paid $40 for a meal and was still hungry afterwards. Not sure if we will be back.

Our family tried the food truck the food look decent. But every time I got my crab cake back the third time it was still cold in the middle.

Well I got my order from DoorDash.. the inside of the bag was Greasy.. but over all, the crab dip was good.

Thank you so much Calvert Crabs and Seafood for the spectacular catering you did recently for my sons on June 12, 2024. You provided a delicious seafood buffet for a family and friends gathering. We had 40 people there and they all commented on how fresh, scrumptious, and filling their meals were. The crab cakes were my favorite. Pure meat, no sneaky fillers. Oh yeah, my other favorite - the beef brisquet was phenomenal. The Mac and cheese was real homemade. On and on and on. My only regret was you left after setup before we had a chance to say thank you for being on time and courteous. Best wishes for continued sucess.

What a great experience! Had Calvert Crabs do a catering gig for an event I was hosting- not only was the food FANTASTIC but the service from start to finish was awesome. Highly recommend!!

The okra was the best I've ever had, and the rockfish bites were delightfully soft, perfectly lightly fried, with a nice sauce on the side. Also enjoyed the combo platter and crab cake.
