Do not go there an hour before it says they close online because they will close early and not let you in. They should check their closing times and update them before they close the doors on customers. I guess they don’t need to make money. Find a different Japanese steakhouse to go to.
A/C did not work
Good server working hard. But the indoor floor is terribly sticky for some reason. Doesn't matter where you walk to. Also, men's bathroom stinks like a public restroom at the beach or a gas station. Food quality is terrible and overpriced. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Food is expensive but just ok. Real issue is the place is filthy. The whole place is 10 years over due for a remodel.Every surface is sticky or grimy. Carpet is gross bathrooms are worse. They arent clraning regulaly enough there is oil grease EVERYWHERE.They rely on an absurd amount of "yum yum" sauce that makes me want to gag at the sight of it.It's nice to have a restaurant like this in Prince Frederick but I just can't bring myself to go any more. If they remodel and rework the recipies, I'd try again.

We went to Sakura on March 2 at around 3:30. The server was okay, but not very good. The food was not what we had expected. We have gone to this Sakura for many years and always enjoyed the servers, chefs, food and atmosphere. The bill was ridiculous. None of us drink so it was just sushi and the menu meals. The grill was dusty and I had to point it out to the chef because he was going to start cooking without cleaning it. As a group we decided we will never return. None of us were happy. Also, they have started adding a service fee, which I took as a tip, minimum 18%. We were a group of 5. I have never heard of any restaurant adding a service fee/tip for groups under 8 people. Needless to say but Sakura has gone completely down hill.

Service was good. The food is okay, but not for the price. The Salmon and was a bit questionable. It was dry and overcooked. But the atmosphere was very family friendly.

The hibachi chef was very kind. He noticed that our youngest was a little skittish about the fire at the beginning. Kept the kids engaged the whole time and they even tried several different kinds of food and enjoyed most of it. A very great experience for us and we'll definitely be back.
