I miss Eats and Sweets. The new owners are trying, but the food is not nearly as good, and the service is awful. This is my third visit since it changed over, because I want to give them a chance, and it hasn't improved.
My advice, because I actually want you to improve and succeed, would be to go back to table service, or figure out a better way to do counter service. The front is crowded and confusing. Get rid of the loud metal chairs. Pay attention to how you are cooking and seasoning the food. Having the same ingredients doesn't matter if you can't execute in the kitchen. Don't cut corners on the quality. What made this place special was that everything was made from scratch and made well. Lastly, raise your standards when it comes to staff and hold them to those standards. Show them how it should be done: knowing the menu, what plates should look like before they go out, how often to check in their tables, etc. Good luck to you.

We were in the area for the falls and stopped for s bite to eat. Selection was adequate for a Cafe. Good had a good flavor and staff were very friendly. They responded to requests quickly and always had a smile. We will definitely return when in the area.

We had dinner at Eats and Sweets and it was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was warm and pleasant. Our waitress, Emily, was truly top-notch. She was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
The food? Absolutely amazing! Everything tasted homemade with so much care and flavor — comfort food done right. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dessert sealed the deal — absolutely delicious!

Eats and Sweets is a delightful gem! We enjoyed the flavorful black and blue burger and the comforting tortilla soup paired with a fresh salad. Our waitress, Ava, was absolutely wonderful—she's beautiful inside and out! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can't wait to return for more deliciousness!

After attending the high school next door for four years and eating at Eats and Sweets multiple times I can safely say this place is not all it is cracked up to be.
Service varies wildly depending on who is on staff. Sometimes you'll get your order exactly how you want it and other times they rush your order out and completely ignore any adjustments or additions you asked for. This isn't dependent on how busy the restaurant is either, most of the workers are just high school kids who would rather be anywhere else. I would know, I went to school with them. Management doesn't seem to help either. If anything, it seems like they don't care about the place.
I had one particularly bad experience when, one night before a school event, the person on staff refused to get me a fork to eat my food. It was late and they didn't feel like washing one for me to use. I'm not assuming anything either, they told me this directly to my face. I paid for the food I think I should be able to eat my mac and cheese without using my hands.
I'm glad the current owners are selling this place because it desperately needs the love and care it deserves.
