A very reasonably priced country cafe with all the right food and an ice cream shop built in. My wife had the cream of crab and said it was one of best she's ever had, while I had a delicious Cowboy burger. Lexi was a great hostess and continually helped out our waitress to ensure our satisfaction by getting us drink refills and answering questions. Definitely recommend!

This was almost a five star but the staff didn’t communicate and left us waiting over half hour until order was taken. In top of that the food was not given to us correctly as ordered and the bill was improperly rang up. The food was good and atmosphere was fun for kiddos but we were very disappointed in the service

Great little place with excellent food and good service. We heard about Eats & Sweets from friend and was out that way so we decided to try it out. If we hadn't heard good things about it I'm not sure we would have ventured in so even if you don't read the rest of the review here's us telling you you'd be remiss to not give it a shot. It's not close to anything major and doesn't look like much but when you walk in the door it has a nice old fashioned diner or ice cream parlor vibe. The menu is smallish, a good variety and options (including a make your own sandwich with plenty of options) but to me that is a good thing. I like when places try to focus on making a light amount of good food rather than doing ok food but choices galor. We decided to have a bowl of Cream of Crab and split a mushroom swiss burger. The soup came out and unfortunately it was only slightly warm, we like our soup to be screaming hot normally and it was a crappy rainy day out so temp was even more important that night. We wanted to send it back to get warmed up but it was so good we just kept eating it, by the time the waitress came around it was mostly gone and not worth heating at that point. The soup was very good, slightly thinner then expected but great flavor and enough crab. If this had come out hotter it would have been stellar. So slight ding for the temp and the time it took our server to get back around to us.The burger came out and to our surprise was on a homemade roll. We ordered it medium (menu says they server their burgers medium and that's fine by us) and while it was cooked more than medium it was juicy and delicious. Now I usually order my burgers medium, with the expectation that they come out more cooked, but as long as they are not dried out I don't mind and this burger was anything but dried out. Definitely recommend it. The fries were hand cut and looked delicious and while they were quite hot and good they were not very crisp. I'm not sure that was on them though as I had fries at another restaurant a few days later that had the same issue, nice and golden brown looked crispy but just weren't. I think this is more an issue with the potatoes in general than the place cooking them. I've noticed similar problems at a certain burger chain known for their fries and (at this time) high cost. With the promise of hand dipped ice cream we planned on having some dessert, the wife had a milkshake and I had a scoop in a bowl. The milkshake was good (for a vanilla, her favorite not mine) and extremely thick. The scoop was good. We were slightly disappointed to see that it was Hershey's ice cream and not a local dairy farms but it was still good. The baked goods are supposed to be house made so I'd like to try something else next time. All in all we quite enjoyed the food and can easily recommend this place if you're in the area. We plan on coming back when we're close bye. We live a good 40 min away but are often close enough to warrant a detour here. Definitely check it out if you're in the area, the homemade rolls and baked goods are a draw and the soup was very good and could have been great.

My son and I stopped here for dinner on our way home on a Wednesday evening. We had been here before for ice cream but never for dinner. We were seated and given our drinks. Our server proceeded to seat other customers and get their drinks (they were other servers customers) and then she never came back to get our dinner order. 15 minutes goes by and she still hasn't come back. She has been helping other customers, but just seemed to forget us. I decided to leave and go down the street to another local place. On our way walking out, an employee yells "Sorry Guys" in my direction. Really? The restaurant was not packed and there were 3 servers working that I saw. That meant that each one would have had 3 tables each if they were evenly divided. Wanted to make this a weekly stop with my son but that won't be happening. I called today to speak with a manager or owner and the young woman that answered asked why I wanted to talk to them and that they were too busy to take my call- even when I told her it was about my experience there. Good to know that the lack of service isn't just the young servers.......

I’m always greeted and sat really quickly , food is very good , ice cream is even better . It’s a great little family restaurant with reasonable prices and a down home feel .

Ordered 2 rootbeer floats and a cookie dough milkshake. The shake was just made up of vanilla ice cream and chocolate chips (not a cookie dough milkshake). Both floats were only filled halfway. Normally have a better experience. Get it together.
