Awesome little restaurant serving Nigerian food. I don’t have a basis for comparison as this was my first time trying but everything we got was delicious. I’m excited to try a few more things on the menu next time!

This place is my go to for efo and poundo. Literally the best efo and poundo in all of MD. Whenever I go on long runs, I eat the efo and poundo as part of my recovery.

I love the poundo so much I held off on trying anything else. Until I tried the jollof. The jollof is 10/10. I drive all the way from PG county to get Mama Putts food because she had the true authentic taste I am looking for.

After a second visit: Hospitality is great! Very clean establishment. They take their feedback seriously, and that is exceptional and hard to find.

The staff was nice and the food came quickly. I definitely have had better food. The seasonings were off, and something was missing from the dish, but instead of making a final judgment off 1 meal, I will try another dish to see if it was a one-time thing.

We had a wonderful experience at Mamaput and Suya! The food was absolutely delicious – the beef suya was perfectly seasoned, and the jollof rice with chicken was rich and flavorful. The service was excellent, with staff who were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A great spot for authentic African cuisine. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Lamb Suya- the meat was so fresh, cooked perfectly with the right spices. This was the best lamb Suya I have ever had! The Okra soup& swallow was amazing! It tasted like a real traditional African dinner! I'm so happy that I ordered from here now I know where to go!

Terrible!!! I usually don't write review. But am sorry, I can't hold back on this one. It was a total waste of over $60 for both meals delivered. My first time order at this restaurant. But the 2 dishes were disappointment. Ego riro- watery, non appetizing and looks like a Leftover. Egusi- not tasty and the the stock fish was hard. It doesn't taste like a restaurant meal at all. Very disappointed!

If you're looking to experience the vibrant and diverse flavors of Africa without leaving Baltimore County, look no further than Mamaput & Suya kitchen. From the moment you walk in, you're transported to another world—one filled with warmth and mouthwatering cuisine.

The menu is a rich tapestry of flavors, offering authentic dishes from West Africa. I had the pleasure of trying the Jollof Rice, which was an absolute delight. The perfectly spiced tomatoes, tender chicken, and subtle smokiness in every bite left me craving more. The Suya, served sizzling hot, had a smoky aroma that was simply irresistible.

They make you feel like a cherished guest, guiding you through the menu with personalized recommendations that enhance your dining experience.

And let’s talk about value! The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality and authenticity of the food. Whether you're dining in or taking out, you’re in for a treat that won’t break the bank.

Overall Mamaput & Suya kitchen is not just a restaurant; it’s a destination. I can’t recommend it highly enough—5 stars all the way! Book your table today and get ready to embark on a culinary adventure through the diverse and flavorful world of Africa.

Omg, the food is so good,, not your average African restaurant, and the Jollibee rice is on point, and can have it your way spicy or not.
