Rude and unprofessional....I looked at the wrong menu item by mistake, trying to find what I wanted to order. When I asked a question, the owner was very rude & acted as if he was agitated and too busy to help me...I told him no I want to cancel the order and I left, ( not because of the price but because of how I was treated and I let him know that before walking out).I would not spend a penny ever again here! I've known this store for many years and he has always seems like he is not interested in my business...I usually only buy a few bagels. I haven't been here in several years and decided to give it a try again & grab an egg breakfast before work. I'll never come back and spend my money where I am mistreated. Maybe if you go there & spend more money, you'll be treated better...either way it is shameful!!!I'm adding to this review because I now see there are several other people of color who were treated in a rude manner! This owner is racist! Again, Shameful!!!

Haven't had a chance to try the bagels yet... Thinking the bagels must be out of this world, there would be no way that business would still be open after 1 week after experiencing Mr Sam's professionalism. I was planning to get a 2-3 bakers dozen mixed variety of bagels, find out which spreads they had, and maybe a few sandwiches. He did not give me a chance to ask about more than two sandwiches giving me a one word description. I asked what the "heart attack bagel was", responds "All The Meats"... (Had no idea what all the meats includes never been there before).. asked about " where was the corned beef from" he responds " a warehouse manufacturer"... So that $13 sale he just made it could have been a $70 sale?????? I wanted to ask him to possibly separate the seated bagels, sweet bagels, or if he had freezer bagS, or if I could get to they go sliced and was going to pay additional. These bagels must be out of this world!

I would never ever buy anything from Sam's Bagel & Deli again. On 5/09/2023 I visited Sam's Bagel at 8a.m. I just got off my over night job and wanted a breakfast sandwich on a Bagel. The owner was very rude to me. I was the next person in line to order, he asked can I take your order, I order a plain Bagel with a grille chicken and fried egg. He said you want a grilled chicken and I said yes with egg and he said with EGG and I said yes Sr. He said to me outnof no where I'm sorry I have to ask you to leave! I asked him what's wrong did I say my order wrong. I looked around before I left and notice I was the only African American there and I was wondering what I do wrong by just ordering my food. I remember the last time I brought from Sam's Bagel the begal was burnt. If you are African American would not buy anything from Sam's Bagel & Deli. He's the only employee in the building.Parking: This man is racist !!!!Bad service !

The owner was so rude. My friend and I were in there for less than 3 minutes and the owner seemed annoyed that we didn’t already know what we wanted to eat. Then when he did take our order he had a nasty attitude so I said I didn’t wanna order anything else politely and as I was walking away he mumbled something under his breathe that had the other people in the deli staring at us. If you’re a person of color do not come here!!!!! The owner didn’t treat the other people there how he treated us.

This is a gem for locals who want a quick breakfast or lunch any day of the week. I got a BLT recently and it was one of the best I've ever had. I typically get a bacon, egg & cheese Sammy on white toast or bagel with home fries -- their home fries are extraordinary. Honestly the best you'll find anywhere, better then Eggspectation or anyplace that's priced 3x higher. I've always found the service to be quick, friendly and professional. And the restaurant always looks and smells clean. The negative reviews must be one offs or peoplewith unrealistic expectations. I've been coming to Sam's for a decade and never had an issue. Definitely happy Sam's has stuck around all these years which is difficult for most restaurants as this area has a huge turnover.

I went to Sam's for the first time a few weeks ago. I frequent this shopping center to see my Chiropractor and had always been curious about this place. I purchased egg and bacon on a garlic bagel and a coffee cake muffin. The cashier seemed nice enough but came off as a bit anti-social. Not a big deal he was still polite. I received my food quickly and the price was a pleasant surprise. Here's where the star rating comes in. The bagel was toasted but it was burnt on the outside making it very bitter and the egg and bacon felt a bit lacking. That being said maybe it's the bagel choice I made and we all know how egg prices are right now so perhaps it was fair considering the price. My coffee cake muffin tasted nice but was unfortunately quite dry halfway down. I would still like to stop in again and give them another shot just maybe a different bagel this time with nothing on the outside to burn. I recommend you try it too, the prices just can't be beat!

The owner has a poor attitude, is terribly racist, told me off, and asked that I never return back again, my associates as well.
