I tried this place today for the first time for my wedding anniversary lunch. It was amazing. Great food, tasty drinks, amazing service and beautiful views! We will definitely be back! Keep up the great work! SALT is the hidden gem of SOMD!

A Marine Battalion paid for everything apart from entrees. I am sorry we slammed this business with our rowdy crowd. The drinks were well deserved and the food, though a long wait, was excellent. The double smash burger is a highlight.
Service from the hostesses was a little off, as most of them looked confused on how to go about serving orders up. There was no protocol in ordering food, so you were expected to hunt down a waiter. I'm assuming the crowd kind of threw off their procedure (there were over a 200 people in the place ). However, the hunt grew even more arduous because then you had to poach your food, or what you assumed was your food, from the server not keeping track of who ordered it in the first place. Fun night!

We had great starters.(crab dip and hushpuppies). The menu was new and that may be the reason, but the chicken brucheta was bad. The chicken was dry and tough to eat. And the person that made it needs to go back and look at what brucheta is. Not some random chopped, can tomatoes scattered in some tasteless sauce. The pasta was over cooked. And too heavy. Needs to be served with different fresh pasta. Try something different.

We went for lunch today wow the food was amazing and the service was friendly and outgoing. The changes to former nook took my breath away what a cozy atmosphere. This was the first of many visits. Thank you for a wonderful lunch and experience! See you soon.

We arrived without reservations. They allowed us to sit at the bar (a 20 table top had just arrived), The bar keep was attentive and friendly. Food was great

This place had the perfect location on the water. The atmosphere was great! Cornhole boards set up for outside play. They had the best hush puppies and braised brisket on sour dough bread sandwich. Also their fries were so so good! Their dessert menu was also very tempting. I will have to go back for those gourmet ice cream sandwiches they were offering! ? cant wait to go back!

We were passing thru by boat and were really pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and food. We met the new owner and he’s working hard to make a special place on the lower Potomac. We will go back for sure!!
