Great outdoor spot on the water. Kids’ loved being able to eat outside and play yard games. They accommodated our large party and even split checks for all of us—thank you! Fried oysters, cream of crab soup and the kids chicken tenders were very delicious. We will be back!

The setting and the vibe at Salt Kitchen are phenomenal! Perfect place to relax with food and drinks - totally kid and dog friendly. Sadly the last two times we went, the service was awful. Back in October we went and it took almost 45 minutes for anyone to come to our table at all with water, to take drink orders, etc. Once we ordered it took another almost hour until our food came and it all came at different times. The staff chalked it up to "growing pains". We went again last night - had a reservation. The waiter was attentive (yet CLEARLY very stressed and rushed). There were 4 of us and 3 of us ordered salads for our entrees. The other person ordered a sandwich. The salads came out and the sandwich didn't come out for at least another 20 minutes or more. The food is really just *fine* but not great. Sadly I don't think we'll be back.

We stopped in this past Saturday and had a fantastic meal. Our server was very attentive and very helpful as we ordered for one of my teens who has some pretty nasty food issues. She made sure what we ordered for her was indeed GF for all parts. All the food we ordered was fantastic, 5 people with 4 different meals (2 duplicate orders). Could not have had a better experience. Highly recommend and looking forward to another visit very soon

Waitress was a charming student from St Mary’s College of Maryland. Service was fast and attentive. The rockfish in the fish and chips was a little overcooked, but the Brussels sprouts were excellent, as well as the fig, prosciutto, and blue cheese flat bread. The chicken sandwich and the crab soup were also weak received.
