Every visit here is great. The food is consistently delicious, and both the drinks and coffee are phenomenal. I love the huge variety of coffee options and the amazing selection of sweets. To top it off, the service is always fantastic—everyone is so friendly and welcoming!

My absolute favorite local coffee shop! They truly have the best pastries, the blueberry muffins, almond croissants, and pumpkin mini pie tarts are all amazing and always fresh. Their bagel sandwiches are also really good and make the perfect pairing with coffee. The shop itself is beautiful, with a cozy sun porch filled with lovely plants and a peaceful waterfall fountain that makes it such a relaxing place to sit. On top of all that, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Such a gem of a spot, we are so lucky to have them in Rising Sun. I highly recommend, and take all my friends and family when they visit.

I’ve only been to rise and grind a few times, and I’d only gotten drinks until today. I got the big rise breakfast sandwich and substituted the everything bagel for an Asiago bagel. The price had me a little skeptical at first but it’s honestly the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had.
Absolutely AMAZING gourmet cookies!!!! They are a MUST have at hit next event! These are Pumpkin Cheesecake & Apple pie! Worth EVERY penny!!!

Unfortunately I can’t actually rate either the food or the service. We placed an order for two breakfast sandwiches, and after waiting half an hour we had to leave without so much as an indication of food. We were not given a reason as to the delay, however we were refunded immediately and offered a baked good as an apology.

Owner was salty I gave her a 3 star review for not having sandwiches that were hot when they first opened and she kept hitting me when I came in the second time as I was trying to eat my bagel I brought from her. Plus her decaf coffee was disappointing.
