I have been going to this restaurant for years. Unfortunately this time will be the last. The waiter accidentally spilled butter all over my straw purse, when I called the manager and told him about it, he went to speak to the owner he said. Came back and offered the $40 dollars that i told him was the cost of my purse and told me to leave my purse in exchange for the $40 dollars. I’m not sure if they thought I was looking to get free food, or free money but I find that insulting. I would have rather for him to apologize instead. Worst experience in a restaurant, they don’t care much about customer service. I will never recommend this place to anyone .
Service was slow. If you want an alcohol drink with your meal. You better go to the bar and get it yourself otherwise it was a wait. Food was good.
Heard this is good restaurant, so me and friend came together for a dinner during our travel. We ordered a dozen of raw oyster, scallop dinner, and a crab imperial dinner. The scallop dinner is really little amount (5 normal scallop only with a little bit rice and some fries!) but still cost me 32 bucks, oyster and imperial crab are ok. Overall, the price is kind of too high except you want a fine dinner and do not care too much about price. I would not recommend this restaurant to normal travelers.
p.s. the kitchen look not very tidy by seeing through the entry.
Trucked in sea food that isn't prepared that well. Definitely not worth the money.
The food was delicious as always. The waiter was ok. The atmosphere was great, along with the weather. I moved and no longer reside in MD. I tried to dine here three times. Two times, the wait was too long. Last night, I lucked up, and there wasn't a wait. It was a very enjoyable evening with my love dining out by the water!
The 🦀 Cakes were wonderful.
The food was absolutely delicious every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. I especially loved it , which was bursting with flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and you could tell a lot of care went into each plate. Service was prompt and friendly, and our server made great recommendations from the menu. Prices were reasonable for the quality, and I definitely felt it was worth every penny. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area ,I’ll definitely be coming back!
Very disappointed in the overall experience on Mother’s Day. They ran out of crabs well before 4:00 PM. My family and I arrived around 2:30PM. The hostesses kept checking in large numbers of people, had them sitting around waiting for hours and by 6:00 PM they had almost run out of everything. People wait for hours to be told everything has run out. My family and I have supported this business for years on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and this has by far was the worst year. The hostess (the only black woman at hostess stand w/ jet black wig) very rude, the parking lot tenant with the curled up mustache, also very rude and unorganized. There was no structure, process, or organization for people parking, just 3 tenants running around the lot like chickens with their heads cut off, chasing and yelling at people for finding parking before them. I will blame the unpreparedness and lack of professionalism on management. I have been a manager before and the way a business runs falls solely on managament and ownership. However, our waiter (young blonde man, pilot, here for the summer, can’t remember his name, top tier, as well as the outdoor bartenders). Other than that, very disappointed in yesterday’s experience. Hope you all do better in the future. If I could make a recommendation, please allow reservations and not just an overflow of whomever and have a structured process. It could help manage crabs and food flow. Also, provide customer service training for all employees. Please consider hiring a real parking lot staff, that can control their emotions and temper at peak hours. How you run out of your main courses, especially CRABS on one of the busiest days of the year is beyond me. We waited for 3 plus hours to be told there are no more crabs. I hope you all do better in the future. However, I doubt we will be back.
Went there for the first time and it was yummy! We arrived at 1130 and it was already getting busy. We will def go back!
Had broiled seafood platter. Orange Roughy was the highlight! Crab soup was not as flavorful as I had hoped.

We went here back to back nights and had the clams, crabs legs and oysters! It was great quality for some of the best prices ever. Thank you Jennifer for great service and left a lasting impression on this food establishment!

We can hear for lunch on my dad’s birthday and the service and food were both amazing. We shared the crab stuffed shrimp and I got the French dip sandwich with provolone and everything was perfectly seasoned. Our server Heather was awesome!

I'm in town on business and decided to stop in for dinner (Riva location). I was not disappointed.
I started with the Crab Dip Shrimp. It consisted of six large shrimp butterflied open and topped with crab dip. They were delicious. I then ordered a 9oz New York Strip and Crab Cake, with a side salad and baked potato. While the steak did lack seasoning, the cook (medium) was exactly as I ordered it. The crab cake, amazing. It may sound like a weird compliment, but I believe it had more actual crab than any other crab cake I've ever had. The baked potato was just that, a baked potato. The side salad, however, was super fresh. It was also the size of a full salad.
Now that I've told you about the food, let me tell you about the staff. I ate by myself, which is always a gamble. Sometimes, the staff ignores you, believing you won't leave a good tip or the bill will be so small, the tip wouldn't amount to anything. During my meal, I had four additional employees check on me and ask if I needed any thing. Although they asked, I didn't need anything. This is because Jill had everything under control. She was knowledgeable about the menu, she had good input, and she was attentive the entire time, without being overbearing.
Given the chance, I will definitely go back.
