Ok, this is my reasoning for the rating. A college classmate, who I haven’t seen in a while decided to meet and have lunch. I arrived early and explained to the hostess that I was waiting for another person to join me. I was seated. I waiting for 15-20 minutes before a waitress acknowledged my presence. I’m cool but my mind is saying, “Someone should have greeted me by now.” I was seated at 12:25 my waitress approached me at 12:25- 12:50 (this is the time I’m texting to ask my classmates where is she? With a friendly but curious voice, I said, “I was wondering when someone was going to arrive.” Mind you, I noticed the same waitress 15-20 ago.😬 I kept a smile because I had to wait anyway but I just thought it was a little rude. This is because after I informed her I would like a cup of coffee until the other parter arrive. She said, I will be back when the other person arrives.As I wait, I noticed her talking with the two hostess at the front and then they all look over at me.😳😂 Yes, I have my eye on you all as well. While waiting, two ppl came in sat in the same area, actually in front of me. I could not believe that was the same waitress waiting on me.😂😳 She greeted them in an expeditiously time, told them the special for the day, and a few other things.🤦🏽‍♀️ I said ok, maybe she will do the same when my guess comes.😊 My guess finally comes not have knowledge of anything that has happened. She goes to explain what took so long and the area of when she was coming from. The waitress then states, “Oh, yeah i will be there tomorrow with my girlfriend.” I’m not sure if she wanted us to know she had a girlfriend.🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ We didn’t care if she is she or he. What important when severing others is fair treatment and treat other no matter the color, gender, religious or preference! We both are Christian people and was there to discuss church obligations.😊 At the end when waitress realized NO one was there to judge her she was very pleasant! I wanted to say something but I will leave it here! If you choose to love who you love then love. If you choose to be who you choose to be she/he whatever pronouns you choose, then do so proudly and with confidence. Don’t assume everyone is the same because of your insecurities! Moving in your authentic being without shame will help you to treat people a little more equal than different.
The Caesar salad had too much salad dressing, atmosphere was good, I would have tipped more but I didn’t because of my first thought and would I visit again, maybe.

Mediocre at best. Drinks were good, lobster roll not bad, all the other food was over sweet or over cooked and had no flavor. I expected better food for the price.

I am a regular at Burtons. The food and selections are outstanding and work well for my dietary restrictions.

I went there to pickup an order, and the door was locked and I know they may have been closed but some restuarant still give you the order as long as it was ready to be pickup and employees are still inside. And no one was at the door and an employee was at the window, I tapped the window to get her attention and ask, she didn't even look up, I am sure she doesn't treat diners like that, pure ignorance. I only wanted to ask if they didn't prepare it or they are closed already. I gave 3 star because over the phone, the employee was nice.

This is a really great place to eat. Atmosphere is also wonderful!!!

I love this place. I have yet to have bad food or service here. It's one of my favorite places to being friends to.

I went there twice booth days i do not like the food this last Time I went there with my husband he did not like it either

A chocolate birthday cake was presented to me to help my celebration.

The service is always good and it's a good place to have a conversation--not too loud. And the cocktails and mocktails are actually great. The food isn't, though. The menu isn't one I'd be excited about in the first place, but even relative to what's on it, the execution is not very good. The food isn't gross and has never made me sick, it's just not very flavorful (and some things are overcooked by my standards).

I do think they are probably good about handling special dietary needs, from vegetarian/vegan to paleo/keto.

We dined outside on a cool evening. The manager turned on the patio heater. The service was spot on, the food was excellent

The steak was good. Prepared well. The service was wonderful. My thanks to the waitress who served me. Very attentive and thoughtful.

Lovely place to dine. The food is very good and the adult beverages are delightful done. We will definitely go back.
