Highly recommend! Can't go wrong with any of the juices. I got two burgers and the Bonita Applebaum and genuinely enjoyed everything. The bread crumbles making it difficult to maneuver while driving, but I was able to manage ;) staff is knowledgeable and detailed with recommendations and answering questions.

Huge fan of the salads here. My favorite is the Ay Papi Burrito Bowl salad. The walnut meat is good. This salad gets you're taste buds jumping. You won't be disappointed.

I have nothing against the food and pressed juices. They're actually pretty good. However, I placed am online order for pickup and when I arrived to the Riverdale location they were closed. There was a handwritten note on the door that had halfway fallen off, so you could barely read it. However it seemed that they are closed temporarily until early next year. But somehow my bank account was debited for the food I ordered. And you can't leave a message because their voice-mail box is full! Not good! I paid for food for a place that's temporarily closed! Beware!

I can't believe that I've never written a review of this place. A few months ago, I decided to get my life together and try out a new diet/cleanse known as a "Raw Vegan" cleanse. Now, I've eaten vegan before and I always said that it wasn't bad and I could see myself doing a mostly vegan diet if I really wanted a lifestyle change. But, this wasn't just a regular vegan diet. This was a RAW vegan diet. If you're not sure what the difference is like I was, look it up. It's a version of veganism that only allows one to eat raw versions of the food. NOTHING CAN BE COOKED! I've never missed a microwave so badly in my life. What I wouldn't do for some flavor. It was a rough few weeks. But, there was a place 30 minutes away from me in Upper Marlboro. When I tell you this was the closest thing to heaven during my cleanse, I kid you not! When I first tried this place after going full raw for a week, bruh... this place saved me. It gave me hope that a transition to veganism wasn't out of the bag yet. Why oh why can't there be more places like this with healthy options closer to me?!Now, not all items on their menu were raw vegan, but they had enough options to choose from. What I got my first time was the Nortorious Tuna salad with walnut taco meat. I also got a De La Soul smoothie with a slice of their apple pie cake (I forgot exactly what it's called) but it was all delicious!If you're looking for some healthy options, want some flavor, and don't want to starve, I would HIGHLY recommend you try this place out. I will be back for sure!

I ordered the Esta Loca Taco salad. I enjoyed the combination of veggies and ground walnut meat. However, I did not like how the bed of lettuce was soggy. There was just too much sauce. Maybe next time, I'll request it on the side. I'd still recommend and am very open to try other options on the menu.

If you are interested in trying vegan food, Gangster Vegan Organics is the place to start. The menu offers something for every palate. The natural pressed juiced are delicious and refreshing.There is limited seating, so be prepared to order to go.

I love seeing a black owned business that is all for healthy options!! Admittedly I've only had the Esta Loca salad as far as their food menu. I've also had the Redman juice and the Hangover wellness shot. The Hangover wellness shot was extremely helpful when I was battling a sinus infection. I'm not sure why but the lettuce in the Esta Loca salad seemed more like iceberg lettuce but the salad was still tasty and was huge portion for me. I want to return to try one of the "burgers" since I told my mom about Gangster Vegan and she loved the Swizz Beets.

Firstly, it’s clever how the menu is based off the names of your favorite rap artists or albums like O.D.M or the Redman. Food is organics and fresh and made from scratch such as broccoli or beet burgers and fulfilling bowls. Gangsta Vegan also makes energizing juices and pure smoothies which were perfect after my ride since they are located next to a running and bike trail.
Love the service and the food. The cold pressed juices are amazing! A great go to after my yoga classes. Really glad I get to visit this place, great attention to detail and high quality food.

I ordered a three-day juice cleanse (gold). The juice was ready for pick-up when I arrived and tasted outstanding. The lady at the counter was friendly, and although there was an emptiness about the place (e.g., no presence of other customers or visible food), this did not strike me as odd considering my former vegan haunt. My only complaint is the lack of labels on the juice. I had to look online at juice names and ingredients to guess what I was drinking, and I was uncertain whether I was supposed to drink them in a specific order as was the case for juice cleanses I picked up elsewhere in the past. In any case, I will be back!

I wanted a healthy but delicious lunch, so I grabbed the Ay Papi Burrito bowl. From the perfectly cooked brown rice to the fresh romaine and pick de gallo, I completely forgot this was a vegan meal. The seasoned walnut taco meat is the dish's highlight, garnished with the cilantro date dressing. Please check out this item and everything else Gangster Vegan has to offer!!

Delish , delishas, Delicious!!!! I' m not totally vegan yet. I have to cut down on the salt and sugar intake. So the taco salad and Bonita applebaum pie was bon Appétit. When I'm in the area, i will be back. Glad i got there when i did, closed at 8. Just made it!!!!! Loved the portions!!!!!! Can't wait for the new loacation ( perhaps National Harbour) just keepin hope alive!!!!
