As someone who is celiac I was skeptical about eating at a sub shop but I am very impressed at the care and attention when making gluten free subs. Before making my sub they always clean the shared space, do glove changes, and use separate condiments to avoid any cross contamination. And the gluten free bread holds together well on their subs too!
The sandwiches are a little on the pricier end, given the pretty standard ingredients and quality. And even with the salt removed, it's all extremely salty (a giant tuna is >2x your daily intake). Less salt, more seasoning!
I love what they do for the community — Jersey Mike's consistently sponsors local events and organizations, and it's delightful. Today after fasting for like seventeen hours (between the runup to a doc appt and then taking forever to get out of it) I just wanted a healthy big lunch; a quick order via app, they had it ready when I arrived, the staff were super friendly and on the ball, and my #6 absolutely hit the spot. So glad we've got them in town!
