The wine here is excellent, the venue is beautiful, the tasting staff are a pleasure. The problem is those managing the tasting room and reservations are not very personable or accommodating. On two separate occasions they were abrupt and bothered by requests related to seating and tastings. It comes across as your patronage is not valued, which is unfortunate given the quality of the wine.
I was on vacation and went to buy a gift. I didn't have the time to stay long but wish I had! The view of the surrounding countryside is lovely, the wines I tasted were excellent, and the service was really helpful. They were able to give me some recommendations for which wine to get as a gift. The small gift shop also has some tasty and unique items.
I went out for a girls night on a Saturday here, also want to mention it was my first time.
They had an outdoor concert (1979) playing from 6:30-9:30. Beautiful sunset.Tickets were cheap online, $14 but it was actually cheaper at the door... $12.50. Easy and fast entry no wait.
