Stopped by Kahler’s on my way home from work . I was so disappointed, the crab cake was very small , oily, and had no flavor, nothing like I’ve gotten in the past . The only good thing was the nice girl who rang up my order. Oh and the fries were soggy. Not sure if I will ever go back again.

We came at Thanksgiving time to get crabs as it is our family tradition. We got a dozen jumbo large crabs and they were good!

You can't beat a dozen of large male crabs for $90. The crabs are always good, fresh, and hot. The corn is locally grown and sweet, which is great! The wings are decent, and i love the hush puppies. I wish they'd put a few heaters outside so people could sit out there. I'm not sure if they do that as I've never been when it's cold. It's just small and tight in there. Opening that patio would help even in the winter. Would recommend! And they are BYOB! Beers and Wine. Not too sure about hard alcohol.

I went to Kahler's twice, The crabs are very good and affordable. It's a low key chill spot to enjoy while eating good. They are very friendly and hard working people.
Crabs and shrimps were great, and the price wasn't too bad. A dozen large male crabs, a lb of shrimp, 2 corns, and hush puppies for 150 (gratuity automatically added)

Average crabs. They do have a sea salt and garlic mix that goes well with crabs. There is one more ingredient in the mix that I haven't figured out. Corn on the cob was good. It wasn't sweet corn. Our order came with a 1/2 pound of steamed shrimp, which was excellent.The half and half soup was pretty good. There wasn't a lot of crabmeat in it. My son ordered a lump crabcake with fries. He said it was okay. I have been to other crab houses and would frequent them before going back to Kahlers.

I recently went to Kahler's Restaurant with my mom and best friend, and we were really disappointed. Right when we walked in, there was an unpleasant smell that didn't set the right tone. We specifically went for the extra-large crabs, but they were mushy and far from fresh. I also ordered four ears of corn on the cob, and they were incredibly dry with no kernels at the beginning of each ear. The hush puppies were okay with a bit of honey, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say about the food.
The service didn’t improve the experience. It wasn’t anything special, and I even had to ask for a refill, which shouldn’t happen when you're spending $181.15 on a meal. Overall, not worth the high price or the trip. We left very disappointed and won’t be coming back.
