Let me just start with the word "upscale" in the advertisement for this restaurant. It is a misnomer. Plastic cutlery is not upscale. I fully expected a different dining experience based on the word "upscale" in the advertisement. I am giving them 3 stars because of the cleanliness of the restaurant and the helpfulness of the staff. I ordered an omelet with mushrooms and onions, grits, and a side of sausage. The omelet had way too many onions. The sausage patties were what you would get at McDonald's. Headsup: the grits are not creamy.

This food is delicious. Check this place out!!! You are missing out. Cornbread tastes like cake. Mac and cheese on point. Fried catfish is just right. Try the peach tea. Thank you Chef Kendall! This place is just what Waldorf needed. I will be back. Also super clean inside and also super clean bathrooms. Check this place out!!!

The food, atmosphere and customer service is amazing at Selby's Grab and Go! Shout out to Chef Kendall for always supporting and accommodating our church on so many occasions to the point where now I am a regular there! From the catfish, to the greens, to the salmon cheesesteak, and last but definitely not least the corn chowder w/crab! Chef Kendall goes out of his way to give everyone the best service ever, including his staff, Kayla and Pam! This is a black owned business definitely worth supporting again and again!!

Went to Shelby’s on yesterday with my cousins and we enjoyed ourselves. We talked with Chef Kendall and we watched the game and listen to some good ole music. Our food was delicious 🤤 and we ordered to go. Thanks to Chef n his staff. Our waiter Makayla was a sweet heart. We will be back.

Our cousin shared Shelby’s information with us. Shelby’s is our go to restaurant, forever! Shelby’s, is an excellent restaurant! The staff is always courteous, friendly and accommodating. The food is so delicious and cooked to your personal perfection. It’s flavorful and the vegetables are fresh. There combination of tea & lemonade, is my favorite, among other selections. The environment is simplistic and clean. The overall ambiance is family oriented. Customer, satisfaction is, in my opinion Chief’s Kendall’s absolute goal. We always leave with a carry out food bag. Servings are very plentiful. We absolutely appreciate Shelby’s,
go visit and witness for yourself, this home grown jewel🦋❤️. I have nothing negative to share! We don’t live in the Waldorf area. I’m a DC resident, if my words haven’t spoken to this survey in volumes, the distance of travel should.
