Everything about this dining experience deserves 5 stars. Lovely ambiance, attentive service, incredible food (highly recommend the steak frites and the romaine salad), and probably the best martini I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

The food here is excellent. Definitely five star food and Service. I had the scallops which are perfect. The crème brûlée was amazing. I would highly recommend both.
However, be aware it is not a linen tablecloth kind of place. It’s more of a pub atmosphere. It’s also rather loud because it’s crowded.

Great atmosphere. Service was okay - but our waiter was slammed and we had to wait for wine and food. My lamb entree was cold and needed more sauce and the spinach was supposed to be creamed and it was not. I think they had an “off” night.

We were so pleased with Bistro St. Michael for our anniversary dinner! We love the casual, but very nice atmosphere in St. Michaels and Easton these days. Bistro St. Michaels sets the standard. First and foremost, the food and drink was OUTSTANDING - everything! And a close second, our waiter was so excellent. He was so young, but he hit all the right notes. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He was serious about getting my food allergy correct. He made suggestions, but wasn't pushy at all. It is an art to be a top notch waiter and this young man had it all! Attentive without trying to be your bestie.

First of all, our waiter was amazing! The hostess was rude from the beginning. We came in with our baby. She had a disgusted look on her face. She told us she was going to sit us upstairs but decided to sit us downstairs cause she just had the carpets cleaned upstairs. We moved on from that, sat down, and ordered our food. The cheese board we had as an appetizer was the best part of our meal. The entrees were mediocre at best to the point that I didn’t even finish it. At that point we decided to skip dessert and leave.

My partner and I loitered outside on a closed day while we made an online reservation. One of the owners invited us inside and went out of her way to make a reservation for us and talk to us about the menu. The food, service, and atmosphere were all extraordinary. Everything was very carefully curated. Dining here was such a delightful experience and was a highlight of the vacation!

We came recently for our anniversary and the meal was good but nothing special. When we got the bill we were shocked at the price and they nickel and dimed us on everything. For example, My husband asked for an extra dirty martini, charged him extra $3 dollar for olive juice and $1.50 for blue cheese olives. My husband ordered their special and the server never shared the price which was $80 dollars. That feels like something they should specify for an entree that expensive. For desert we assumed they comped because it wasn’t on the bill, then when the server brought the card back he told us he ended up adding it back on his card. Unfortunately we were really excited for this dinner as our hotel raved about it but we wouldn’t go back. (I typically wouldn’t write a negative review but as someone who eats out quite a bit, this meal felt off)

Incredible experience. They happily accommodated our blind dog by seating us on the back patio, service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and above all, food was exceptional. Steak frites was delicious and fries were addictive; crab cake was the best we have had, with huge pieces of lump crab. 10/10, will be coming back asap.

Definitely an experience. Some of the best food on the eastern shore.
This was a great dining experience. Each food course was excellent and the service was perfect. The mussels were among the best I've ever had. The chef's counter provided the opportunity to watch the ballet between the chefs and the wait staff, but it can get a little warm from the heat coming from the kitchen.

My husband and I sat on their lovely patio at the back of the restaurant. It was decorated with ceiling fans, a beautiful privacy fence, and lots of plants in containers. The crab cakes were heaven on earth and the eggplant Étouffée, on long strands of handmade pasta, was something I will always crave. We ended with a cheese plate which was divine. The service was at a perfect leisurely pace for people wanting to enjoy a bit away from home. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and hope we can come back again on another visit to St Michael's.
