I have been a customer of Blue Heron for close to 10 years! I visit them when my wife and i vacation in St. Micheals. I used to buy my beans locally in Pennsylvania, but found the consistency was terrible. I started to buy from Blue Heron online since at least 2017. I can honestly say I have never had a complaint. Heather and Jay run a dynamite coffee shop, and are the best people. Online orders ship crazy fast, never a delay. Do not hesitate, go there now!

Wanted to like this place but the coffee was roasted far too dark so ended up incredibly bitter and the milk was barely frothed.

Our hotel didn't have good coffee, luckily this coffee shop is close by.
The coffee ☕️ is great. Two cups for under $10

Best coffee shop in St Michaels. Although others are good, the friendly service, quality drinks and cool vibe make this our #1 choice.

I had one of the best iced vanilla lattes I’ve ever had here! It was so good, we went back the next day on our way out of town. The owner and staff were very kind, and humorous as well. So they made our visits something to be remembered!

The best place for coffee in st Michael’s hands down. It’s a “must” if you’re in town for the weekend or every day.

Great coffee. Great service. Great vibe. The only coffee shop I choose to sit and work in without my AirPods - the music in the store is that good! Blue Heron is truly a local spot with loyal regulars, but visitors to the area will find it equally welcoming. Did I mention the coffee is so, so great? Don't miss out on this gem!

Our iced coffees were delicious - so many syrup options (lavender, vanilla, brown sugar cinnamon, etc.). There is an inside seating area, outside seating, and a few designated customer parking spots. Fun merch and products for sale too. It’s in a great location right on the main strip of shops and restaurants!
Super awesome spot!

What a great little shop! I had the iced tea, and it was amazing. Earl Grey infused with mallow flower and licorice root. I highly recommend it. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is quaint and adorable.

Blue Heron was a very laid back and friendly place. Construction was going on to install a roaster accessory - we want to come back to see it in action! Drinks were good, I had the iced chai latte which was a bit too sweet for my taste but my husband loved it. He ordered a double shot of espresso. They were using their “When Doves Cry” bean (medium roast) that day for shots. He (an espresso enthusiast) says it was a little flat in flavor and lacked the crema aesthetic but it hit the spot and wasn’t bad overall. We bought a bag of the bean and plan to try it at home.

Friendly owners, chill environment and the best coffee I have ever had! You can taste the care and quality of their blends. My spouse and I are opposites with our coffees(hot vs iced) and both ways were fantastic. Only downside was we didn't get a chance to stop in before leaving town. I'd relocate simply for their coffee.
