3. View of the water acceptable
4. I would stay in here
Giving three stars for the following reasons.
1. Daughter in law found a small piece of plastic in her soup (comp)
2. On my order (very delicious) they forgot my vegetables and my smashed potatoes.

⚠️ I SHOULD’VE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST — I DO NOT RECOMMEND . ⚠️
I truly regret not paying attention to the recent reviews, because they were absolutely right. Harrison’s Harbour Lights has a beautiful harbor view, but the food quality and handling were extremely disappointing. I’m even more disappointed because I really wanted this to be a good experience—I was the one who recommended we eat here, and I feel let down.
My sister ordered the salmon over pasta. Before she even tasted it, she noticed the color looked strange. She took one bite and immediately said it was spoiled. I didn’t believe her until I tried it myself—I had to spit it out instantly. It tasted like salmon that had gone bad days ago. Sour, rotten, and totally inedible.
We told our server, who had been very pleasant up until this point, and she took the spoiled salmon back—but she left the pasta it had been sitting on, even though it was clearly contaminated. Why would anyone think we still wanted pasta that had spoiled fish on it?
Meanwhile, my own food wasn’t much better:
The crabcake was fresh, but it had no firmness or structure—it fell apart and didn’t resemble a proper crabcake at all.

The scallops were undercooked, soft in the middle and not fully seared.

The coleslaw was okay.

The fries were okay—but fries aren’t enough to save a plate.

About ten minutes later the server returned with a tiny dessert plate containing four small pieces of chopped chicken. We had asked for grilled chicken over pasta, not a few chunks of chicken with no pasta. It felt like a rushed, incomplete substitution.
When I mentioned this wasn’t what we requested, our server Ava became noticeably impatient and said, “I’m not the chef.” Completely unnecessary. Of course we can’t speak to the chef ourselves—she is supposed to communicate our concerns.
Later she asked if she could take my plate, but never offered to box it up. She also never asked if we wanted refills of water at any point during the meal. After reporting the spoiled salmon, the service noticeably changed.
To their credit, they did remove the spoiled salmon from the bill without question, which was the right thing to do. But STILL—rotten fish is unacceptable. It should never have reached the table in the first place.
To make things worse, the replacement chicken and pasta still wasn’t fresh and had an unpleasant smell. At that point it was obvious the kitchen has serious issues with food quality and food safety.
After reading more reviews, I see the same complaints have been happening for months. I really wish I had looked beforehand.
Serving customers spoiled fish is dangerous, disgusting, and completely unacceptable—no matter how beautiful the view is.
DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT.

Just had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time here. The service is absolutely exceptional. Billy took incredible care of us. The other staff were constantly replenishing the delicious oyster buffet, but still seemed to be enjoying their time singing and conversing with each other and the other guests. Truly a wonderful evening.

Great location right over the water! We went off season so not sure what this place is like in the summer, but it was lovely and the servers were super friendly. Great food and great views!

We stayed at the Harbour Inn and had dinner and two breakfasts at Harrison's Harbour Lights. We had meals at other fine St. Michael's restaurants as well. Harbour Lights was a great setting on the deck overlooking the harbor; the food was outstanding and we had excellent service. The prices were less than we would have expected. Highly recommend.

We had dinner here last night. Started in the bar with Sabrina. She was amazing. We moved to the outside patio where Hannah was our server. She was so sweet and very attentive. Our food came out quickly and cooked perfectly. I had fried shrimp and my husband had the Delmonico steak. It was delicious and we later found out it comes from a local butcher. After dinner we went to another local pub but returned to end our night talking with Sabrina. She is a pleasure and very knowledgeable. All the staff where great.

We have been here before and had a fairly good experience. This past visit was awful in so many ways. The service was fair at best. One of our party ordered the BBQ sandwich. It was disgusting! Looked like it was frozen, thawed, put in a blender and plopped on a bun. She took one bite and proceeded to find the bathroom to throw up. The owner says it’s made fresh by his wife ! Really?? He just threw that woman under the bus!!
We went there specifically for the cream of crab soup which before had been excellent with plenty of lump back fin meat. This time with what little amount that was in it, it was made with body meat and lots of shells.
We will never return there!

Incredible view outside. Worst crab soup I've ever had. The other food we got was fine. Service was average at best.

We had a great dinner, yes the chicken and crab cake were amazing despite the past review of the chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly, crab cake delicious, and fresh zucchini. They serve warm cornbread muffins with dinner and they are amazing! The service was great for dinner and breakfast. The views are wonderful!

The atmosphere is very nice and it over looks the water. The half and half crab soup was more like glorified tomato soup. It was awful and not very warm/hot at all. Our seafood extravaganza dinner was very good. At the end of our meal, our server didn’t ask if we needed anything else like dessert, coffee or tea, nothing. She just handed us the bill. I don’t think I have ever dined out where this has happened. I don’t think we will be coming back here.

We had lunch here recently.
Service was sporadic at best.
Food was disappointing, no flavor or seasoning in the shrimp salad. Portions were very small for the prices.

We went to St Michael's and met friends who live in Maryland we are from Delaware so it was a half way point for all of us. We did some shopping and then decided to get lunch. We had previously made a reservation at 12:30. We were looking forward to a great meal with fresh seafood. My husband and I shared 3 appetizers Calamari, Scallops wrapped in bacon ( one of my favorites) and Ahi Tuna. The scallops were so overcooked and dry we sent them back. The server did take them off the bill. The Calamari wasn't much better but it was edible. The Tuna was okay and the most edible thing we ordered. Serveral of our friends had the Shrimp salad they said it was bland had no taste. I would not recommend this restaurant. I'm sure there are many other restaurants in the area with much better food.

Mussels and corn bread were good. About the rockfish tacos: really good rockfish, not so good taco. Scallops: Overcooked, had to return the dish, unfortunately (the server had the courtesy of removing them from the bill). Nice view but overall wasn’t the best experience. Went to a different place for dessert.

My family and I visited the restaurant today for a Birthday celebration. It wasn't the best experience. I 1st ordered the Oscar from the specials with Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. The waitress came back and said they were out of filet mignon and mac & cheese. I then ordered the Alaskan snowcrab legs with apple sauce & sweet potato fries. Both times the waitress wrote it down and both times the sides were incorrect. My daughter ordered a plain cheesesteak and that came with lettuce, tomato and onion on it. We had to send it back to get corrected. Once again when the waitress took the order, she did write it down. Not sure why things came out incorrect, the restaurant was not busy. The crab did was very good. The Alaskan snowcrab legs were ok. The view was amazing as always!
