The folks at Rise Up were helpful and friendly, and even gave us a small side cup of honey no charge. The only problem was that they take cash tips only and there is no option to tip if you use a card, so if you don’t have cash, you can’t tip. My husband had a very good double shot of espresso and my matcha latte with oat milk was excellent.
The barista seemed new. Gave her my order twice, a mocha and a latte. She handed over the latte and then handed me a "coffee." You mean "mocha?" I asked. She looked panicked and took it back, then handed me something that tasted like watered down hot chocolate.Came back next morning, 2 long lines on either side, and apparently we got in the wrong one bc the other side went twice as fast which felt frustrating since we were standing. The staff is always so friendly. The coffee smoothies are amazing! They also have the best lemonade. Very decently priced. I work right down the street from here and this is my favorite spot to go to for an afternoon pick-me-up!
