We had a delicious meal celebrate our anniversary. Caleb took excellent care of us, the Speedo and I Like It When You Call Me… were delicious cocktails. The food was fantastic, and well portioned. We especially loved the short rib and the shrimp aguadulce tostada. The fried corn ribs were amazing, a must try.

We had several meals in this restaurant and every single one of them was delicous. From the Shrimp Tostada, the Mole Chilaquiles, everything was great! The service was phenomenal and I would reccomend to anyone visiting St. Michaels.

My wife and I took a quick trip to St. Michaels and stayed at the Wildset. Upon looking through the hotel website, I saw that they had what looked to be a pretty nice restaurant, and the head chef had recently been nominated for a James Beard award. At that point, it was a no-brainer to book a table. The hotel and restaurant were both very well kept; I think both have been opened for a few years, but everything looked brand new. The place was completely full on a Tuesday night, so I figured we were in for a treat. Service was excellent, the wine/cocktail list had plenty of options, and the presentation and taste of the food was amazing. Service was especially good as the pace of courses coming out of the kitchen was timed very well. Enough time to let you digest one course, but not making you feel rushed like a lot of other restaurants do. We ordered dessert and after-dinner drinks, all of which were great. I think we spent over two hours in there, and we loved every minute. This is a gem in St. Michaels, and I hope everyone has a chance to try this place. We'll definitely be back!

Wow!!! My experiences today prompted me to write this review. We are staying at Wildset for our babymoon and read about how Ruse is the best restaurant in St. Michael’s. We tried the happy hour first and sat at the raw bar- the roasted oysters and spring gem salad were delicious and this was some of the the best service I have ever received from a server while sitting at the bar!
We then went later that day to try dinner and we were in for a treat! The lamb ribs, wild mushrooms, and smoked trout were all so delicious. The trout in particular was cooked to perfection, crispy skin on the outside, tender meat inside, and the lemon caper sauce was delicious. I also loved the labneh ice cream, perfect amount of tangy and sweet with the rhubarb compote and crumbles. Brittany, our server, was so genuine and pleasant to be around, and enthusiastic about all of our choices. She gave us amazing service and was so sweet to even gave us complimentary non-alcoholic sparkling rose to congratulate us! My God, can’t wait to come back to try the famous burger and shoestring fries!

Awesome spot. Went for my husband’s birthday and they gave us a free glass of wine. The raw bar was awesome we loved the scallop crudo and the oysters. We also got the crab pasta, cucumber salad, and pork chop— all delicious.

Absolutely loved it here! Perfect way to end a day in St. Michael’s. Came here on a Saturday night. The inside is beautiful and service was excellent. We ordered fresh oysters, two appetizers, the blue crab cacio e pepe, and the grilled scallops. The appetizers are no longer on the menu it seems but one was a make your own tuna hand roll and the other was a roasted oyster. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be coming back.

My partner and I had the smoked trout piccata and the smoked chicken. Both were outstanding, I would even say the smoked trout was exquisite. You also have to try the MD oysters, they're from the creek right next door and are truly outstanding. The staff are as exceptionally wonderful as the food!

Had a fabulous anniversary dinner here this past weekend. Julie took fantastic care of us and made our experience memorable. I really enjoyed the sunshine daydream cocktail. We ordered a half dozen oysters, which were fresh and very flavorful. I had the scallops for dinner and am still envisioning myself enjoying it. We had a lovely time and are excited to visit again on a future trip.
