Great service and atmosphere, location is amazing, food is disappointing and overpriced. As with most places in the US, an overuse of disposable plastic when more eco-friendly options are cheap and available.

I'm originally from the area and haven't been here in forever because it's considered a tourist trap. However, I was in town with my husband and wanted some steamed crabs on the water and they did not disappoint! Expensive, but worth it if you just want a dozen and don't want to cook them at home and honestly they're expensive anywhere. I was skeptical but the crabs were large, meaty, and delicious! Super dog friendly which is rare for somewhere you can sit and pick crabs. Awesome service and atmosphere. We had a lovely experience and it made it even better that our dog could enjoy it with us as well. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!!

It was my first time in St. Micheal’s, it was on a Saturday. After a long boat ride and a long walk we were starving. I was so disappointed because I thought to order crab cake as a safe food to curb the hunger. WRONG!!! But when I tell you I have never eaten a bad crab cake in all my life, this was some kinda bad. How they made southern livings vote must have been presentation. It was a small crab cake with just filler, and NOT lump crab meat at all as advertised. It was bland in taste, and I just could not believe it came from MD. It was dry and it looked like meat from the claw. The crab dip was just ok, but that is where they put the lump crab meat and the old bay seasoning I needed in my crab cake. I kept seeing folks ordering steam crabs and now I know why. The waitress service was great. The atmosphere perfect for steamed crabs and that is why they were sooo busy that we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Friends stated fish and chips and cheeseburger was tasty. However, I’m not able to recommend eating at this establishment.

We sat right on the water outside and watched the boats coming in and out. We happened to be there at the same time as the entire Terps coaching staff so that was cool. They had some pretty boats! The crab dip was really good and came in a yummy sourdough bread bowl. Most patrons were there for the crabs, tables were all dressed in crab paper and the bucket of hammers and paper towels were atop. Drinks were good. Atmosphere was fun!
