We had a wonderful breakfast here and look forward to going back for breakfast and lunch on our next trip to St Michaels. Delicious food and a large menu, very nicely decorated, comfortable seating, and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Food was very average, would not come back. The coffee was $6 which seems overpriced.

Pros: Charming house setting for the restaraunt with nice outdoor seating on main street of St. Michael’s. The beers available were good choices. The prices of the alcohol was a bit steep. Bathroom was clean and well kept.

Cons: We were not in a rush but the service was very slow.

The food is very very overpriced for very mediocre to poor rated food. Ordered the cream of crab soup for an appetizer. Priced at $18. Was expecting a large bowl of crab soup with plentiful amounts of lump crab meat. What I received was a small cup (probably smaller then a panera take 2 soup) of watery, flavorless and CRABLESS soup. I did not find a single piece of crab meat in the cream of crab soup. I sent it back.

Wife had salmon lox bagel. She said it was pretty good and the portion of lox seemed good. The tater tots served with it could have been from a value grocery store freezer bag.

Other family member ordered the market price crab cakes. $32 dollars, two decent sized crab cakes. The flavor was good, it was mostly shredded crab meat, would have preferred lump crab meat but you did get two medium sized cakes. Not the best , not the worst crab cakes.

I ordered the banzai shrimp but asked to substitute the spicy chicken breast for the shrimp. Kitchen accommodated but I’ve never received such a small portion of chicken on a main entree before. Think 1 single chicken strip from chick fil a cut up into about 4 pieces. Very overly breaded and overly deep fried to a hard crisp. No seasoning or sauce was on the chicken strip. Served with a large potion of sticky rice that was covered in a wasabi sauce. The rice was ok, but it cost 27 dollars for basically a plate of rice.

Disappointing experience on first time here. Had high hopes on one of our first and few trips to St Michael’s. Was hoping for a delicious lunch but left unsatisfied with a much lighter wallet. This food quality would not survive outside of the tourist trappy section of St Michael’s.

The scenery and town is very nice to look at , but most of the businesses we visited today seemed like nothing more then a way to over charge a more wealthy clientele base and not back it up with actual quality.

We walked up fifteen minutes before closing. They seated us (we didn't think they would, they even seated other people after us). The service was fast, the juice was fresh cold pressed and the food was excellent and staff was very pleasant. I highly recommend this place. I want to come back for sure.

Should have listened to the other reviews. Bottom line, the food, in general, isn't good. The location and atmosphere on a sunny day are fantastic. The facilities are excellent and we had such hopeful expectations. However, the sticky bun was not sticky, had no flavor and was very dry. The eggs, which are claimed to be locally sourced, are cooked in a way that makes them overly fluffy, dry, and without taste. The vegetarian sausage patty (which surely can be hard to do right) was crumbly and bland. Not what you expect when they upcharge $4 for it over regular sausage (which, but the way, did not come with a charge warning). I'd pay $20 for a really good breakfast sandwich -- but not this one. I will say, the tots were great. Crispy outside, tasty, and fluffy inside. Nostalgic. One other minor issue, the server mislead us on the cost to substitute crab for sausage on another plate. The manager refunded 50% of the extra cost, but it was poor form. More importantly, when you charge the prices they do, the food needs to taste much better. This place should be a hard pass.

Our primary server was quite nice and tried to be helpful.
The sunny side up skillet was totally overcooked and yet cold. The replacement waffle was ok but again was not served hot.
I had to ask four times for a glass of milk. The third time I asked the server’s assist. She said sure and then went over to talk with her friends. Never saw her again.
I have it three stars but won’t come back.

We hosted our son and future daughter in law's rehearsal dinner this past weekend at the Galley, and it was incredible!! As we entered the restaurant the decor was beautiful and the whole atmosphere felt bridal and inviting. The food was excellent from the appetizer soup & salad, then our shrimp choices, to our main course, and finally a delicious dessert. Jen and her staff at the Galley went above and beyond! They were so welcoming and catered to our every need, making this evening even more memorable and meaningful for us.
Thank You so much
