Garry's Grill

I have patronized Garry's for many years, but now feel like they are price gouging. We stopped in for a quick breakfast the other day and were shocked at receiving a $42.00 bill. $15.00 for an omelet, $5.00 for a glass of orange juice, and $3.00 for a cup of tea.
Sorry, but you have lost my business after 35 years.

What the heck happened here?? It used to be a very nice restaurant. It’s really gross now, with garbage in the entrance, tables covered with cheap advertising, and a dessert display case with three sad desserts, kitchen equipment, a gallon of milk and a gallon of orange juice. Heinously loud horrid country music. One employee was throwing “clean” cutlery halfway across the kitchen so loudly I reflexively ducked. Two employees tried to take away our food while we were actually cutting our meat, even though we were the only ones in there at Saturday dinner time. They changed the spice iced tea recipe that was such a favorite for decades, and now it’s undrinkable. They use some creepy American flag ketchup I’ve never seen before. The four dime-sized pickles that came with my sandwich were “off”. How do you mess up pickles?? Presentation of the food was worse than what I do at home. The pulled pork was a solid lump of tasteless nothing, and the coleslaw was bad. This place needs to go out of business.

Been coming here for years but disappointed last few visits with slow service and kitchen quality (cold eggs, forgot toast) after waiting 20+ minutes for food. Hoping things improve soon.

This place is horrible, I ordered the fish tacos and they were so bland and made me almost lose my appetite so I ended up ordering the ultimate grilled cheese and thought that it would be okay but no.. so gross. My server was very nice but that’s about the only good thing they have here. I just ate the fries and left. Never coming here again. Also, lots of flies everywhere. Don’t come.

Quite possibly the worst breakfast we have ever been served. We were served COLD food and it tasted awful. We sat outside since it was a nice day. After we ate, because we were hungry, I went inside to see what was going on that our food would served so cold. Much to my surprise, it was almost empty and staff more engaged in gathering around than making sure food came out fresh and hot. Won’t be back and I would never recommend anyone go here to eat.

Do not order carry out from this restaurant. If you eat in, it is typically great. But when you walk in and random strangers are looking through your food, then the food does not come with items from your order, you’ll regret carrying out. Great food, but just eat there.

Their food was absolutely amazing! Everything about Garry's Grill, from the service, environment, and food, blew our expectations out of the water!! I love this place and plan to come back!

Had wings and tried one of the Ghost pepper stuffed jalapenos. Both were spicy and flavorful. I don't think I could finish the challenge of 6 of them in 15 minutes though.

The Seasame chicken was good and my wife raved about the chicken fried steak. I do want to go back and try their fish and chips. Server was a little scary at first but was the friendliest and attentive in the best ways.

He fixed problems and made great recommendations.

Best onion rings! Plenty of crunch and don't disintegrate when you go to eat them.
Staff was friendly and able to provide good recommendations.

Parking: Garry's is tucked away in the inside corner of the strip mall and isn't immediately obvious upon entering the parking lot.

This place use to have really good food but over the last couple of years it going down. The pumpkin muffins has no flavor anymore. The ice coffee is so weak you can see thru it. The breakfast bomb is a great idea horrible execution. The prices that are charged they could use better quality ingredients. I have been seenong more and more restaurant store packets and ketchups on the tables.

Met some friends for early dinner at Garry’s Grill. We were able to all get something delicious- tuna appetizer, chicken Caesar salad, the chicken sandwich. Staff was attentive but not overly so, we were able to catch up and not feel rushed. Food was delicious! Glad we choose Garry’s. We’ll be back.
