The food here was good, but nothing special. It had a kind of dive bar ambiance, which can be fun if you like that sort of thing. The wait staff were very good and responsive, though. A good place to take kids as noise wouldn't be an issue!
First time diner, probably won't come back, at least for dinner. The choices on the menu looked good and we were looking forward to possibly adding a new restaurant to our list.\n\nDidn't happen. The cream of crab soup and the soup of the day, baked potato, were OK. Salads were OK as well, although the price on the menu said side salads were $3.99 and we were charged $4.75.\n\nFor our entrees, we ordered the pork chop, herb crusted salmon, and the country fried steak....
This used to be such a solid weeknight take out option. My family loves (loved) the salad options. The Garry's Salad is one of my all time favorite salads. Expensive but delicious. But the quality has slipped so much in the last year and I think this visit will be out last unless either the quality bumps back up or the prices come down. The carryout container used to be brimming with mixed greens - more than could be eaten in one meal. Now, its more like a lettuce lined container...
