I ordered a sub box for a family gathering on Saturday 12/28, which I didn't do with a day's notice. I put the order in that morning through the app for a 430pm pick-up time. I had asked the store closer to me to fulfill the order, and they refused me the service without 24 hours notice (which is not stated anywhere on the app or website). The Severna Park location was more than accommodating, especially since I called the store to alter a few particulars after the order was placed. They were so helpful and happy to take care of the order! Customer service at its best! The best part was that everyone was very happy with my choice when it was time to eat!

I really want to give a shout out to the manager on duty on Thursday night on 09/26. They were amazing. There were several stressful issues they encountered while I was waiting for my food and they were amazing. So calm and continued to make sure all the customers were taken care of while addressing the issues on hand. In the employment world right now Jersey Mike’s has an amazing employee and needs to recognize this manager. I wish I knew their name so I could make this more personal. Hopefully you read this and know I saw how great you were and I would be honored to have someone like you on my team! Keep up the great work - it will pay off for you.

UPDATE APRIL 2024: Management made some changes and corrections and it shows! Having gone back several times despite previously being displeased with service in 2022-2023, because of its location I continued to try them. I've found a crew of young folks who are professional and have outgoing personalities and the sandwiches are consistent every time! Good job team Severna Park!
Vegetarian options: Their MEATLESS SUB is a healthy blend of portobello mushrooms which sauteed are really hardy and can give meat a run for its money any day. Add to this peppers, onions, cheese and Mike's Way toppings and you never miss the meat and it's not a processed veggie substitute meat. Love this and I eat meat just a flavorful healthier alternative.

So I went to this Jersey Mike's and ordered a number 9. It's the second time within 2 months that I ordered a number 9. This time I watched them carefully and once again they didn't put bacon on my sub. I asked the kid where's the bacon at he said we add that in the end. I get my vegetables on the side. He turned to 1 of his co-workers and asked for bacon. The guy sliceing the meat says we don't have any. I said this is exactly what happened to me last time you didn't have any so you didn't do anything about it. I had to suggest to them to put 2 or 3 pieces of ham on there to compensate for the bacon. If I didn't question it I would've once again left with a A sandwich that was not complete as the menu description says. I actually still left them a $1 tip because they were sorry for my inconvenience. I told them it was not an inconvenience but if they don't have something they should make up for it in some other way that is what service recovery is about. I am a huge Jersey Mike's fan been eating JM sinse1990 but this place is becoming a disappointment.

This was my first time to Jersey Mike’s. I have to admit, when I sat down to eat my food I was a bit concerned. I’m not a complaining Karen, but nearly all corporate/franchises are suffering from low morale resulting in poor customer service, low quality food. This nearly alarmed me: Every person behind the counter was kind, confident in what they were doing, knew their role, and hustled. Smiled. Asked customers if they could open the door them as they exited. For example- the young white brunette was absolutely on top of slicing and taking note of her coworkers finding ways to support them. Every little thing done with care. Young bearded black guy was incredible, would clean up his immediate prep station as soon as he could. I saw them work respectfully with an older customer who needed a little extra help. I can only imagine that these folks are well compensated, or should be, because they take pride in their product. I see why people like this location. I attached a photo of my sandwich as soon as I could, might’ve been too late (see photo).

This was my first time going to the Severna Park location. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with endless positive attitude and felt extremely welcome. Everybody was asking me how I was, what I was up to and made me feel amazing. The young gentleman working were astonishing, the bearded grill worker with curly hair and the 2 boys who put my toppings on and checked me out. They were asking me all about my work life and hobbies and sounded as if they were actually interested! I ended up getting a chipotle cheesesteak and an italian for my wife. Both were delicious and all thanks to their recommendations. Keep doing what you’re doing Severna Park!!
