Severna Park Taphouse

The Severna Park Taphouse is where we hold our Katherine’s Light Foundation all day music festival fundraiser. GREAT venue, outstanding service, food and drinks are excellent. I clearly see what they are always voted BEST Bar, Best music menu and more. This place is a just a fun, great place to go. Owners are terrific. 5-Stars all around. Come check it out!!

Amazing service. Everything about this place was amazing, we came with our dog, and they even served him a bowl of water, they also have a plate in the menu for dogs. It was awesome. The burgers were amazing, I was really surprised with the quality, and you can add extra toppings to make it more amazing.

Unfortunately, this first visit to the SPTH wasn't a very good experience. They messed up our order entirely. One was incomplete and the other was the wrong item. Our drinks were subpar and the staff were completely nonchalant. No apologies for the mix-up and no sense of urgency. Furthermore, the staff were oblivious to the fact that all of their bantering and joking was easily heard by the customers. If I were to sum up what was wrong, I'd say the staff lacked adult professional supervision and pride in their work.

On the positive side, after they got the order correct, the food was decent and enjoyable.

To the owner: I wouldn't leave this gem of an establishment in the hands of amateurs or folks who don't love it the way i am assuming you do.

I have been to the tap house dozens of times but it has been a while since my last visit. Today most of the things were the same as always. Great atmosphere and service but the food was awful. I ordered a steak sub which I have had in the past and it’s always been good not so today. This is as one of if not the worst steak sub I have ever had. I am not sure what the meat was but it wasn’t quality steak that for a 19ish dollar sub should be. It’s almost seemed to have the texture of ground beef. It truely was the worst steak sub ever. I will go back because I like MOST things about the tap house but will never get this terrible sandwich again.

Absolutely nothing bad about my experience here. Service, food, atmosphere all top notch. Had 10 people in the party from 4 years old to 83. Something for everyone’s palate. Food was amazing. Service (Logan) and atmosphere were terrific! Highly recommend.

We waited for 15 minutes on our anniversary on a Tuesday when there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant. We weren't even given water or asked for our drink order. The hostess was very friendly and sat us right away with our me us but our waitress was nowhere to be seen. The other 2 employees were just chatting up at the front the entire time. It was a shame since we have always seen this place busy and have wanted to try it for almost a year, but now will not return.

The food was slow to arrive (about 45 minutes after ordered). Bacon was undercooked, home fries and chorizo crunch wrap were more peppers and onions than anything else, and they were cut large and undercooked. I have been here before, and this was the worst the food has been.

Server was cordial and did a good job for the most part.

We were seated directly in the sun without an umbrella despite seats being available in the shade at noon. Had to move tables halfway through our stay due to that reason.

Food is super solid. The vibe is definitely basement/dive bar, but in the best way. The taplist is really good. Service is great. They have deck beers…what more can I say. Great neighborhood tavern

Really good food with huge portions. Loved their nachos (they are smart and included cheese on the bottom), buffalo cauliflower, and the burgers and wraps were all great. Beer and cocktail selection was good. Service was on point. We sat inside although the back area looked like fun since people were out on a nice day. All for a very reasonable price. Would gladly come back again and recommend to others!

The Taphouse was a great place for my friends and I to gather after our recent reunion. It’s very relaxed, has a chill vibe and large area outside with lighting, fire pits, tables and seating for folks to hang out. They were a bit understaffed when we went on a Saturday night but our server Jamie was amazing and did very well with our large group. Give this place a strong thumbs up ?

We sat outside at a table. Food was delicious! Drinks were awesome! Service was excellent! I think Mike was the only server, but he did an amazing job taking care of us even with all the tables full.
We'll be back!
