Great little place. Definitely kind of hidden in a little strip. Drove by it for about 8 months and never noticed it. Large portion of food. Homefries were really good. Had to add salt and pepper to the chipped beef but was decent. Coffee was nothing special. Great little spot with great service.

Waited half an hour to be seated, to wait another 35 minutes for us to be brought out food that was cold and disgusting. The wait staff is CLEARLY doing their best, but they are in desperate need of either more staff, better processes, or effective leadership. Ownership also needs to learn the difference between “kitschy” and “tacky”.

We've been coming here for years. Family owned, the staff are all great and the food is always good. It can be crowded on weekends but the wait isn't usually longer than 20 minutes.

I was not happy with the service I received. I’m writing this review based on the service experience rather than the food. After spending over $500 on food orders from The Breakfast Shoppe, I was shocked by how poorly I was treated. During my most recent visit, the manager actually followed me out to my car and stood there yelling at me in the parking lot. It was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional.
What made it worse was that they seemed upset about having to prepare the order in the first place, as if fulfilling a large order was an inconvenience. For a customer who has spent this much money with the restaurant, I expected at least a basic level of courtesy and respect.
No matter what the issue was, this kind of behavior toward a customer is unacceptable. It left a very negative impression and completely overshadowed any positive experience I may have had before. I truly hope management takes this seriously and addresses how customers are treated going forward.

This was my first visit to The BS, I had a great experience, the staff was great and attentive and it had a good local vibe as it was packed. The downside was the coffee was too weak for my taste, and the Backpackers special was too sweet due to the maple sausage which overwhelmed the flavor. I definitely would go back but would order something else and I’m sure my ranking will be higher.

Party of 5. Everything was good for everyone... I got the chicken eggs Benedict signature dish. Good flavor but chicken was over cooked fried hard and dry barely warm. Should have said something. A bit pricy. Small place, good atmosphere of local gathering.

Breakfast with co-workers. We had a few people who do not eat onions but were told all of the home fries are made early in the morning for the whole day. Melissa our server said that they refuse to cook potatoes fresh to order. That they do not accommodate or make fresh. She said that you should get tater tot’s or French fries for breakfast instead. The scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon were good.
