This is my second visit here. The food is decent but forgettable. I waited a few minutes at an empty bar while the bartender chatted with a co worker. She walked right up to the patrons that walked in after me.

Had a quick bite with our daughter. Extremely clean place. The food was very good also. I had the ' Baltimorian' sandwich. That was just right for a delightful lunch. Our waiter Aaron was fantastic.

My Husband and I love The Social. We have high expectations when we go out for food and drinks these days. The Social delivers, though only a small menu, everything is delicious. The mussels are our favorite. We always hope to have Dave as our Bartender. He makes some great cocktails and we always have good conversations. It is definitely one of the best local restaurants we’ve been to!

The service was great! It was hard to tell who my actual Server was because so many ppl came to my table asking if I needed anything. Perhaps that was part of a Social experiment LOL... idk.
I had an Apple Cider adult drink that was very good. The BBQ Shrimp and Grits w/ Spinach were a delicious surprise! Could use a little less sauce but good flavor and the grits maintained a good consistency. The Apple Cider Cheesecake was not good at all... but they made up for it with the Pumpkin Bread Pudding. If I may suggest, don't get the cream cheese icing, it's tasteless. Try the Pumpkin Bread Pudding with a drizzle of caramel, a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, or a drizzling of powdered sugar icing. Overall, The Social offered a welcoming environment with great service and good food. I will visit again!
Parking: Parking was very convenient
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families present. Kids menu available.

2 burger entrees and an order of mozzarella sticks.
Thin style burger patties, but that isn't my complaint. They just seem to over sell it in the description of the flavor. It however does not hold up. It lacked all flavor.
Mozzarella sticks were burnt and not good cheese pull. This is also after the kitchen forgot about them and they came out with our meal. There was sadly no compensation for their mistake on the bill. Sure, we could have complained, but didnt.

Very fast and excellent service at The Social. The food was pretty good, but a bit expensive. My stepmother had the shrimp and grits, which she liked, but again, thought they were a bit expensive. I tried a brisket and polenta dish, which was a combination that did not work too well for me. My wife and dad had the double cheeseburger, which they thought was decent. You can order the quarter pound burger as a single, double, triple or QUAD! On a return trip, I would like to try a sandwich or the tacos.

Can’t really tell you about the Social. The website says they’re open until 8 but at 6:50 when we walked in to order apps, they met us at the door and informed us that the kitchen closes at 7.
Guess we’ll have to be social somewhere else.

My fiancé and I shared the Crab dip which was good but overpriced for how little they gave us. He got the Baltimorean and I got the Shrimp Salad Sandwich, which were both very good but on the pricey side. I also got a $5 orange crush because it was happy hour so that was nice. All in all a cute spot with nice vibes and good music, good food but a bit on the pricey side. Their food menu was smaller than the drink menu, they should really be labeled as a bar but they also have a kids menu so that was kinda weird. Probably won't go back unless it's a special occasion because the prices but we had a good time and enjoyed our food

Robbed at Fork Point with a fantastic local craft beer.
Modern decor and pleasant hostess! See the pictures.
I feel like I just got robbed at fork point at The Social. I should have heeded the many warning sign’s
The Warning signs:
1.) Venue: the end of the strip mall. You just can’t put lipstick on a pig.
2.) Pigeon poops greets you upon arrival.. check out the pictures. Bird guano adores the faux portico at the entrance.
3.) Empty at 6pm on a Saturday evening.
4.) debris and dirt on the floor. The place was not clean. Ahh, see the picture because it is hard to believe.
The Food: cheap, rip off, over priced and they use a bait and switch for foreign food sources. Ask questions!
Highly suspicious food sources -
I confirmed this restaurant uses foreign seafood like shrimp from places like India and China for shrimp salad and shrimp tacos.
It does use the Texas shrimp for only one dish and it uses the those shrimp sparingly with a substantial up-charge of 40-50 percent!! They initially led me to believe the shrimp was from Texas, after further questioning, it was confirmed to be foreign by the kitchen staff.
If they mislead on the shrimp then I imagine they mislead on everything.
I decided to order the Buffalo Chicken Flat bread thinking it was the safest choice. It sounded wonderful. But what I got was a small piece of toasted flatbread with a smidgen of a buffalo sauce and tiny chicken chunks covering about 60% of the small flatbread at $18! The tiny chicken chunks made me think of the pigeons at the front door. I get more chicken and better tasting chicken at the fast food chicken place. It was a big disappointment!! I ended up using ketchup on the flatbread to compensate for the lack of flavor.
My son got the pulled pork sandwich he liked the pork. However, the French fries were extremely salty and horrible.
The good news was the local crafted beer!
I spent about $100 for a $20 meals in a dirty dive. I still tipped the waiter very well. He did his job and I certainly do not blame him.
However, I felt robbed at fork point.

I tried The Social for my birthday dinner on 6/21/24, and was very disappointed! The hostess and my server were excellent, but the food was just ok. My husband and I tried the crab egg roll, which was awful! His shrimp tacos were good and my fries were good, my cheeseburger was horrible!
