Seats too low. Chest high table. Too much fried food. Hamburger has filler and the soft crabs left more to be desired. On top of that the food was cold.

If you are so inclined to take a day trip to Smith Island, then a trip to the Bayside Inn is also needed. Great food, amazing views, cute gift shop and most important Smith Island Cake.

Had them serve us breakfast sandwiches while docked at 3 Knots Marine. They were very good!

Great family place. One of few places to eat on Smith Island. Great view inside and out. We ate there for dinner last night and breakfast this morning during our stay at Island Time beach house. Some of best soft crabs I have had and others really liked crab cakes and corn pudding. Waitress was here for the summer and very nice and helpful even though we were last table just before closing at 5. Yep they close early but lunch can get busy with tourist cruises so try an early dinner if you are here. Beautiful view right on water and there is a goat island across the water from them

They must of gotten a new cook. Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary there and got crab cakes was very disappointed.

Really enjoyed visiting Smith Island and the Bayside Inn Restaurant. We had a map of the island and journeyed around right off the ferry checking out the history. We came back to Bayside Inn for lunch after the crowd thinned out and had a delicious meal. The ferry ride was so delightful too! Our Smith Island Cake was everything we hoped for! Thanks for the great memories!
