This is a great little local watering hole with an adequate bar menu that has more than reasonable prices. We live on the other side of the mountain from Smithsburg, but make the drive over mainly for the wings. They have the best ones around and, at just $13 for a dozen nice sized ones, they're a prime example of why wings don't need to be so ridiculously high priced as they are at other places. Cheap beverages made right. The food is great too! Also a wonderful bunch of bartenders. It's cheaper to eat a burger made right at the den, than going to McDonald's 🤷🏼‍♀️

We love the Wolf's Den! Super friendly staff and good food at a great price.(try TheJudge--salad topped with Phili steak and cheese and a pile of their famous fries $10... SO GOOD!) Nice beer selection on tap.
