What a beautiful day to have a birthday. And a special shout out to John and Cora at DOCK of the BAY for making this a delightful and memorable birthday. The food was delicious and the service was flawless. The view and the weather were perfect as well. Looking forward to our next meal with you all. And the special chocolate chip cookie with ice cream for dessert was the perfect ending. Thank you all.
Worst Morher’s Day ever, spent here ! Made reservations over a week ago and asked to reserve crabs at that time . I was told had to call back on Friday to see what size crabs were available, did that ! Then was told not sure , needed to call on Saturday , did that ! Was then told due to the storms in the south needed to call on Sunday , did that ! I was then told only thing available was medium crabs so I said well I guess reserve me two dozen of them ! Get to the restaurant at 4:50 my reservation is for 5:00 pm and I’m told they can’t seat us yet they’re waiting for the kitchen to catch up and apologizes , says gives her about ten minutes . Wait another half hour , meanwhile they continue to let people walk-in and sit at the bar and order food .So explain how this is allowing the kitchen to catch up ? Any differently then you searing people with reservations? Then we’re finally seated and I ask about our crabs . Well guess what no crabs were ever reserved for us . The owner then comes over and is so unprofessional and ignorant that it isn’t even funny ! Offers a round of free sodas or dessert for the inconvenience lmao 🤣 what is that ? He then proceeds to walk away and tells somebody to call Jimmys and order two dozen of f** clinic crabs . Of course they’re sold out . So needless to say no crabs for us but people that didn’t reserve crabs got crabs . Wow what a great way to do business ! Not Then out food comes out and half of it has to get sent back . Most dry , flaky disgusting crab cake I’ve ever had and that I will say is unusual for there because I’ve had them many times before so I don’t know if that was part of our punishment or what ! To say I was disappointed and had the worst day ever is putting it mildly !!! Oh and lets not forget the disgusting , nasty ladies room ! Half the stalls out of order and the other half no toilet paper ! Filthy mess .Definitely would not recommend on a holiday
I came here yesterday with my family because we received a gift card. I will say, our server was extremely kind, personable, and attentive. However, the food was awful. I ordered a cup of loaded potato soup to start, which had little to no flavor at all. Then, I ordered the blackened chicken alfredo. It was okay. Not horrible, thankfully. My mom’s and husband’s dishes however….
They both ordered rockfish over rice. The rockfish tasted like catfish and had a very foul smell. The rice had the weirdest taste that was impossible to get out of your mouth. My husband ordered a cherry crush drink. It was hardly sweet and tasted like soda water with some vodka.
Needless to say, I feel awful giving a local business such a negative review but food prices are too high to serve food that isn’t even subpar!

Very sad buffet...The food was under cooked over cooked and cold ,staff not attending it at all and very unhygienic in my opinion.People were packed like sardines. It was a money grab I hope the staff who had to work at least got paid well... It was my first time ever here because of this poorly excluded food event I will not be coming back.
We had our 50th High School reunion here. Ordered the fish and chips. First piece was not very filling, like it was all breading and no fish. Second piece somewhat thicker and tasty. Staff super friendly and courteous.

It was my husband's birthday. The bar and restaurant was full for the Raven's game, but it was exactly what he wanted for his day. Food came out in a timely fashion, was delicious, down to the ice cream & cookie platter with a candle on top! Luckily the waitresses didn't have to sing to him, as the entire restaurant did (friends included).

I don't usually hand out 5 stars- my thought being, it should be just about perfect for everyone but, the crabs, our food, our waitress, the view- even the parking and condition of the restrooms left me with no other choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Parking: Plenty of same level parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's a little bumpy- not paved but everything is on the same level.

I held my 50th high school reunión here on September 21st. The food and drinks were great and our waitreses Amy and Emily were fabulous navigating the 70 plus crowd and keeping all the tabs straight. Kudos to all the staff that helped to make the day great.

Party of 6 at prime time on a Friday night. We were seated right away at a lovely inside table (they have inside and outside dining) a few feet from the bar. After a few minutes a young lady comes over to take our drink order. After about 3 or 4 minutes she returns with our drinks and we place an appetizer order. For the table we had the fried brussel sprouts, the steamed mussels, and what i believe was mahi with wasabi and soy sauce. And individually i got a cup of their Cream of Crab soup. The food arrived rather quickly. Next we placed our order for our main course. I got the bourbon salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. This time it took a little longer for the food to come out. Noticably longer. And our cups began to sit empty. After a few longer minutes, the staff began to bring out our food and refilled our drinks. The broccoli had a very strange taste to it, and was very mushy. But the butter and seasoning on it made it mostly tolerable for brief periods of time. The mashed potatoes appeared to be actually hand mashed potatoes, and were rather flavorful. The Salmon however was definitely the best part. The glaze on it was perfect and the fish just fell apart at the touch of a fork. Besides the broccoli and the awkward moment where our waitress seemed to go on lunch and nobody sent a backup, it was a decent dinner. Not perfect. But the atmosphere makes up for it. For the local gem that it is, it's absolutely worth 4 stars. If you've read this far, you're really considering going there. Just do it. You won't regret it.
