I work in the industry and technically even though they also do Marine transport?
I don't consider them a competitor. Alex and Jeff are class act,
Good people.
We treat the industry like a brotherhood instead of competition, and that's how it should be.
Whenever I come into the marina,
whether to pick up or drop off a boat,
They treat me like a priority and they treat your boat like it's the only boat in the world.
Ensuring that your boat is properly loaded for safe transport is crucial.
Other yards ,
and fly by night haulers could care less.
They just rush trying to make money, professionals care that your vessels handled properly,
and that's exactly what you'll get at this Marina, professionals.
Did a Sunday day trip and had a blast. Food was great, service was great! Can't wait to go back when it's warm!!
Great spot to grab a charter or lunch and drinks. Don't wait to book a boat the fish are hawt this year.

They put the chairs on the beach and ruined it.I was so excited to go.and my friend wore invited.I was so mad when .
Went here for husband’s special birthday because he wanted jumbo steamed crabs. We started with a half dozen. Of my three crabs 2 were light. At $12.50 each that shouldn’t happen. And then horrors - they steam without seasoning! Instead they throw it on afterwards. A definite no-no in Maryland! The next disappointment was they had no corn on the cob. Another no-no in Maryland. Finally, they were out of non-alcoholic beer. For a special celebratory occasion we were greatly disappointed. It was not worth the long trip and the expense. We won’t be returning.
Sadly, this was maybe the worse resturant experience the tables were sticky, the floor was sticky. The food was marginal at best. Not the Kentmorr of once before.
Awesome

My group of four decided to try the new restaurant since were had been regular fans of the previous Kentmorr restaurant. OMG, were we disappointed. Since this is a new restaurant, in all fairness, I will not compare it to the previous restaurant. All comparisons aside, the menu was very limited (no fried shrimp, no seafood combos, no coleslaw served with fish and chips), the food was horrible. We ordered the Fish and Chips and boy was it so salty, we had to send it back, the crab soup had a weird texture, and very few lumps of crab meat, the crackers that was served with the soup were stale, and the wings were bland. The beet salad was delicious and the service was outstanding! I would suggest that management/owner gives the customers an opportunity to participate in a survey of the menu, items ordered and make comments/suggestions on the food satisfaction. This is such a beautiful location and I hope that the food and menu gets better. I will not consider returning unless I see a better menu, that represents the Chesapeake Bay seafood cravings, and I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends until such time.
We had not been to Kentmorr since before the pandemic. The last time we went the place was a zoo. You couldn't sit on the beach without a reservation and busloads of people were coming in from Baltimore. Needless to say it was out of control. The Restaurant passed on to new owners last fall. We were pleasantly surprised to find the beach was only open to restaurant patrons, things were calm and there were tables on the beach with the full menu except crabs. We choose to sit inside since it was blazing hot, hoping for a cooler place. Sadly it was pretty warm inside also. All the staff we met were courteous and cheery, from the fellow at the entrance checking ID to the waitstaff, buss staff and bartenders. The menu is limited, good but not as many items as previously. I am sure as time goes on that will change. We both ordered the cream of crab soup. It had an almost pudding like texture, was very rich with lots of crab meat. I have not had better on the eastern shore. I ordered a crab cake sandwich with tater tots. My ordered mussels. The crabcake was excellent, the tots were crispy though they could have been a bit hotter. Plenty of crab meat, fresh veggies and a nice tarter. The mussels were good but slightly overcooked. My wife enjoyed them but they could have been better. I must say the server was delightful. She explained how the new owners want quality over quantity and that the staff is happy with how things are going and so are we. We will be back, so happy to see a place I have been going to since the late seventies still there and going strong.
This restaurant has really gone downhill in past 6 months! We have been bringing our friends and family for over 10 years, with fantastic meals. July we brought our large family from Michigan, and it was a disaster. Menu very limited. OK if you like shrimp. Looks like 'bar food mostly. Signature 'lump crab soup had NO crab meat in it. Waitress brought some. Calamari was a joke. A pile of greasy over-fried 'something. Only two rings the size of nickels were seen. Once signature lump Crab cake was a small, tasteless shadow of former offering, with cheap backfin meat. NO lump. Other meal offerings fell short. The ownership has changed, and perhaps the clientele. 'Amusement park atmosphere outside draws different crowd. For decent meal, there are other options up the road.
Loved, loved, loved The Kentmorr Beach Bar and Grill. What a beautiful place to visit on the water. We started out by having lunch outside on the picnic tables. I choose Old Bay wings for my appetizer because I am from Buffalo and I hate to say it, but I think the wings were better than the ones in Buffalo!! For lunch I had the shrimp tacos which came with rice and beans. The tacos were spicy and delicious. After lunch, we walked over to the Tiki Bar, and I sat by the water sipping a Margarita. Doesn't get better than that!!!
