Small place but well kept. Young people are very informative. Got deviled eggs with crab meat. Macaroni with crab meat. (Cold). 2 crab cakes to bake at home they will make them there if you want. Lots of parking. Not hard to find. Can't eat inside but saw a picnic table outside.
I live in Northeast PA and every summer about 2-3 times when visiting family it is mandatory to pick up an order to bring home. I go out of my way for Blue Crab House. Best crabs great price. Always accomodating for the 2.5 hour drive home. Bring a cooler:)

I am glad I took a chance. Already a repeat customer. I have been a loyal customer to a crab place for the last 10 years. It was a 6 hour round trip but it was worth because it was right on the water where the crabbers would pull up in their boats and unload. So I knew they were fresh and the price was unbeatable. This last year, things have changed. The quality has plummeted. I discovered the Blue Crab House by looking at reviews and what was a closer drive. I didn't mind paying a higher price but I was leery of wasting my money on junk. I am so glad I stumbled onto the Blue Crab House. I have been there 2 times in 2 weeks. It takes me 2 hours round trip. That alone makes up for the difference in money. The crabs are the size that I order, heavy and with yellow mustard. Not a huge fan of the seasoning, but I can live with it. I am spreading the word.

I stopped today to get the cream of crab soup. It was the worst I have ever had. Will not get it again.

I bought jumbo crabs last weekend and they were worth every dollar. The crabs were full and tasted so good. Everyone was very friendly, from the lady who reserved the crabs for me over the phone, to the gentleman who helped me in the crab house. I’ll be back!!

I called Saturday afternoon prior to closing to ask about crabs and prices. The kid on the phone told me he didn’t have any and to call back Sunday at 11am. I asked if they would have them at 11, he said oh yeah. I called at 1101 on Sunday and was told they sold out for Sunday and to call back after 3
